I can't imagine that there's a better landscape/hardscape firm in the region, and not to be dramatic, or even the nation. They do it all, with great, smart workers who really care, and do it right. Mike Hoogland would not allow anything else, I know. He's a stickler for quality.
My experience comes from a multi-month project around a newly-built house that included building berms, carving new property out of a hill, creating lawns, planting over 100 plants and a dozen trees, building a 125 foot brick wall, brick garden over a pool, an attached pergola, pool decking, driveway bricking, lawn lighting

Don't know anything about their work because they charge $300 just to come out and tell you whether or not they can. $1500 Minimum. Ridiculous.
In response to the owner. Thank you for your reply, but unless your policies have changed in a year, yes, I was quoted 300 to come look at the job whether I chose to continue or not. The minimum is not all that uncommon, but people should know that ahead of time. Also, if you dont charge to come bid a job currently, that is great. Seemed weird at the time to me as well.

UPDATE: I emailed them about this issue last night and they came back today and corrected the problem. I appreciate them responding so quickly and making it right
Our project started on May 18, 2020 and as of today, June 25, 2020, the job is still not complete. We have been waiting on 3 plants to come in but apparently they can't get those plants so they asked if we would mind switching to a different plant. We agreed and I told them exactly what I wanted and even included a sketch. They showed up today and planted them in the wrong place. Now I have to contact them again and wait for them to

Can you give negative stars? This is on their customer service and on the rude woman who answered the phone. Im new to the area .And I just called, I did not realize they were just a landscape company. The woman I talked to was VERY rude. I started to ask for what I was looking for, she cut me off at the knees, did not even let me finish, saying "We are not a retail store, we are a landscape company only, you will have to find someone else to help you." and then hung up on me.
