David Kopke, grew up in a family of entrepreneurs and home service specialists. His great-grandfather, Michael Kopke, started his own Furnace Repair Company and grandfather, Robert Kopke, owned and operated Kopke Heating & Cooling on Grosse Ile. Instead of handing the Heating & Cooling business to one of his 4 sons, Robert decided to sell it and encourage his sons to go to college to pursue more "suit and tie" type jobs.

We are currently halfway through a kitchen remodel that includes taking out a wall and I could not be happier. Before we began, I was very nervous considering the size of the remodel, but things are going really well. Everyone is incredibly professional and well organized. The project manager (Mike R.) runs a tight ship and is a very good communicator (he has a good sense of humor too).
I also like that they didn’t start any part of the job until ALL the cabinets and supplies were ready. Once Kopke had the material they began work.

From start to finish I received 5 star treatment from Alan and the Kopke team! Julie and Ron held my hand the whole way from signing to picking my products to putting the final fixtures on. But what i loved most of all was that there were no surprise additional costs and they made sure to stay within my budget! We spent a lot of money remodeling our kitchen they ordered the wrong cabinets they installed our countertops crooked we had to have them pulled back out and re-leveled. The contractor was very nice but his work was not after the remodel we still have moldings that are popping off and the drywall repair to the ceiling as noticeable through the paint. The kitchen looks better than what it was but for the price it should’ve been perfect and it is not.

Kopke Remodeling completed a total renovation of two of my bathrooms. The customer service with the office personnel was wonderful. My experience with the sales department, especially Ron was a great experience from start to finish. My project was completed within a timely manner and to my expectations, I also give kudos to the installation staff and my project manager for their hard work and communication. Kopke did my rather large room addition. The guys who came to estimate were great. The appointment in the showroom to pick colors & materials was a pleasure. Contractors, Sub-Contractors & Kopke Employees who worked on or visited the project during the 3 month process were courteous, kind & cleaned up every single day! Kopke worked with two other contractors I had going at the same time: Having a deck put in and having landscaping re-done. Kopke worked around and WITH these other companies to make sure I was happy. Kopke has remodeled my kitchen, which is absolutely beautiful and just recently had a new roof installed. I love the work they do and how all the workers are so nice and but very professional about their work. They show up on time and always clean up their mess at the end of the day.
