First of all, mahalo to Jovan for being very patient when Home Depot did not have the screen door I preordered and prepaid for pick up on date certain. He suggested another similar door. Jovan did an excellent job putting in a new screen door. He was very professional, with great customer service. Jovan was very patient and listened to my suggestions and working to solve the door size issues.

Very friendly staff. However, service (patio door and window repair) is on the expensive side. Comparable quality of service as to other handyman used that are much cheaper. Inefficient scheduling and also poor handoff communication when the work requires multiple days and different staffing members. For example, had a hard time scheduling follow-up service when first day's work was left partially unfinished. Also, what was purchased and what work was done was not communicated between the technicians from different days. Quite a bit of paid time spent on inter-technician debate and coordination

I contacted Kamaaina and they scheduled the work within 2 days. Very responsive to all of my requests, and the technician was on time and did excellent work. I would add that we also checked with another vendor and their price was 5x higher. I highly recommend this company and would use them again without hesitation.

We switched to Kama'aina Handyman for our general handyman needs and we are never looking back! They are very responsive and make appointments in a timely manner. We needed an emergency fix the other day and they were able to make it in and fix our issue in under an hour!
All of their employees are extremely professional and very helpful and the pricing is accurate for the jobs they accomplish. They've even reached out personally to let us know about the new services they are offering. We will be using them for all upcoming needs and jobs from now on!

I called Kama'aina Handyman to install new fixtures in a shower. Scheduling was easy and I appreciate the texts that confirmed the appointment and told me when Joe, the owner, was on his way. Joe is very professional and did a good job. He even climbed onto the roof to re-attach a downspout that came loose during the strong winds over the weekend. I will definitely use them again!

Received automated text messages of updates. The repair person was amazing, very professional, and made great suggestions. We had a water heater issue with a brand new water heater. Kama’aina handyman service came out and discovered the unit was bad. They were professional in giving us our options. Pohai installed our Acs in the windows. After measuring, he went to purchase wood to use to enclose the Acs in the windows. Some of the wood he used was of inferior quality after paying over $500 for time, material and installation. The wood finished was not even painted for us. Poahi was friendly and on time.

It cost me $767.00 (- $250) for front door adjustment and drywall patch repairs. The handyman they sent did not finish the drywall patch repairs - he mudded it over but did not sand it or paint it. I called Kamaaina and they told me they would have to charge me their hourly rate to finish a job they started. Are you kidding me? For drywall it costs what … $4 spackle and a $2 brush and I had the paint? Needless to say, I had to finish to fix all the drywall patches myself. I don't recommend their overpriced services. I’m happy to pay but they lost a loyal repeat customer.
