We were looking for someone to fix a small corner of our baseboard and trim to an interior door that our dog had chewed up when she was a pup. We put it off for a while and decided to get it done. Based on the reviews I reached out to Response Crew on their online form. I heard back from Jennifer right away and had something scheduled within a week. Dennis showed up right on time and did a FANTASTIC job fixing the areas in question. He was really friendly and professional, not to mention the work done exceeded my expectations. Sure, I could have done this myself but I would have screwed it up.

I had the pleasure of working with Paul Smith of response crew. The job that I needed was to have an interior door installed. The door was a bit problematic and required some modifications. Paul was able to quickly identify the problem, and was able to quickly adjust his method for issues that arised. He had all the tools needed to complete the job, seemed very familiar with the process. He even went the extra mile (no pun intended) to go to home Depot and grab the correct door and install it. I hired this service to do some maintenance on my condo after an inspection I did recently. The dispatcher was prompt with a quote and very professional. Kelly, the Handyman, was also very professional and on time. He was very polite, and was able to complete the job in a timely fashion. I live out of state, and my elderly parents needed handrails installed in their bathroom and shower, and a new shower head. Response Crew did a wonderful job! My parents also have 14ft vaulted ceilings and I did not want my elderly parents to be standing on tall ladders to swap out batteries for their fire alarms. Response Crew swapped out the batteries with no problem. If my parents ever need handyman work again, I will be calling the Response Crew. This is a great company if you want fast, reliable handyman repairs. They are on time, and do good work. Wasn't so pleased with last person, but this time the repairman not only did the requested work, but also checked all the drains and fixed a slow one in the shower! I needed texture on a 6 foot by 4' section of my ceiling after I replaced an older fluorescent light fixture and installed two pendant lights. I am able to drywall and spackle, but I cannot match texture. Jennifer was extremely helpful and nice during my initial call and getting things setup. Greg came out to do the work and he was very professional with covering items in the kitchen and did not leave a mess.

Very quickly after the my review was online, I received a call from the owner and a message saying it "was a mix up" and to please call the office and talk to Jennifer or himself, he wanted to make it right. I don't typically keep my phone on so I missed it. He also sent me an email offering to do the threshold for no charge. I thought that was a generous offer, and decided to take him up on it. I also received a notice they had immediately refunded $311.

As a poor grad student, I thought I was doomed when the front door to the condo I rent was kicked in overnight. The deadbolt lock and door frame were irreparably damaged, so I was left without a way to lock the only entry door to my home during an extremely busy time in the semester. We had the Response Crew out to our home twice once for removing the kitchen appliances and then re-installing them for our kitchen remodel. Both times they were very professional and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The remodel was not perfect but they were able to figure out a away to install the dishwasher that was a bit rough due to the remodel not being straight causing a tight fix fort eh dishwasher. We will be using them moving forward for all our future projects.

Over Charging and a fee for everything
Yelp keeps asking me to do a review on this company so here it is.
I had a plumbing issue, very minor, just an install of an item. I sent out a request to handymen not thinking I needed a plumber. Response Crew told me about a minimum of 2 hours and their hourly rate which is not in keeping with the going rate of handymen.
Here is their response to my request:
"We have a minimum of $189 which includes up to two hours of service and $89 each additional (1 technician)."
Well, this is over charging and it is absurd to expect people to pay a "

We were so happy with the work and service. They responded quickly to our inquiry, provided a quote over the phone and were very professional. There was a mix up about a phone message (which was my error) but they were so pleasant and helpful in resolving the issue.
The gentleman that came to the house did an outstanding job. He installed 2 curtain rods, a framed mirror, patio shade and a sun sail over our pool. He went above and beyond what we would have ever expected.
To top it off our dog fell in love with him and was mildly depressed the rest of the day after he left!!

We are in the midst of selling our house. Somehow, our front door was not locking well and was a little difficult at times to open. I called Response Crew Friday morning to schedule a workman. Jennifer, the operations manager, said the earliest she could get somebody out was Tuesday, June 1. We were tentatively scheduled to be out of town that day. I told Jennifer I would call her back in a little while after I spoke with my wife.

Awesome Team!!! Jennifer was great to work with over the phone and was very accommodating when I wanted to add additional work to the existing order. I was really happy to see Dennis show up on time wearing a mask. In these times of Covid we are super cautious and he was amazing about keeping it on the whole time he was on our property.
