With three generations in the septic business we are more than able to handle all your Septic needs. As a family owned business we try hard to keep our customers happy. We may not be the biggest company in town, so we will just have to settle for the best. This company is fantastic! So knowledgeable and truly committed to customer service.
A Septic tank is the "Digester" in your septic system and needs to be regularly maintained by removing sludge and scum from the tank to keep it working properly. That's what is protecting you from costly Soil Treatment Area repairs or sewage backing up into the house. At Durango Septic we recommend pumping the tank every 2 to 4 years depending on usage.

This company is fantastic! So knowledgeable and truly committed to customer service. Extremely helpful, excellent communication—I really can’t say enough! We had a backed up septic, and they were quick to get out here and get us fixed up, and for a reasonable price too (no extra emergency charges like other companies quoted!). Good people; we will use them exclusively for septic issues moving forward. Just a side note, I guess they are NOT the same company as “Durango Septic Service and Installation”. That was a little confusing to me when I was first searching for septic companies today

A family owned, customer-focused company that will not just call you back, they will actually answer their phone the first time around! I called them stressed out because I had septic backing up and guests coming in later in the day. Needless to say, I couldn't wait two or three days for someone to call and then schedule an appointment. They made sure I was taken care of even all the way out here in Pagosa. Thanks for the great help and service.

Found myself with my septic backing up into my bathtub. Not a good situation made worse by having out-of-town guests in that bathroom. I called Durango Septic and they said they had just left Bayfield and it is now Saturday afternoon and they are back home three towns away. When I explained the situation they said they would come out. The owner shows a depth of knowledge and expertise you don't encounter everyday. Generations of this family have been in the business and they are so incredibly nice and helpful. My situation required rodding and a pump which was done quickly and efficiently
