We have utilized the climate controlled storage units at the Ballenger Creek facility for over 20 years. The staff is knowledgeable, professional and boundlessly friendly, and the units are clean, dry, well monitored and secure. I have two different storage units, one regular and one climate controlled. I have also rented U-Haul vehicles from them. Valerie always asks what I will be storing or hauling and her size recommendations are spot on. She has saved me money several times by suggesting a smaller, less expensive vehicle. Each time she was correct, I didn't need the larger vehicle. I am very happy with their services and highly recommend them.

I always have struggled to find a storage/ uhaul location that has excellent customer service and function properly. This location is incredible. The service in picking up the uhaul was easy and the return was perfect. Could not have asked for a better experience. Seriously, some of these locations in Frederick are TERRIBLE. Please stop by this location and give them a try. Lots of trucks available for uhaul and it even smells good inside! I will always use this location, thank you so much!

This review is for U-Haul equipment rental, not storage units.
I needed a trailer to help a friend move some things. I had maybe a week's notice. Every place near my friend or I seemed to be out of trailers. I put in a reservation at one place and the U-Haul corporate customer service called and said the trailer wasn't available. However, there was one at YourSpace Storage (YSS) at Ballenger Creek. I said that was fine and my reservation was finalized.
Come the day of, I'm scrambling to get out of work early to make the hour-long trip up there to pick up the trailer. Of course

I have had a unit in YourSpace storage of Ballenger Creek for about 10 years. The prices are very reasonable and the staff, Valerie and Lindsay, have always been great. I have also rented uhaul trucks from them multiple times and it was always a pleasure, the truck or van was ready when I came in and the prices are very reasonable.

We just started renting storage here last month and so far it has been a pleasant experience. From the very beginning, Valerie was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She helped guide us to the correct sized storage space based upon our project. To top that off, she actually came into the office AFTER HOURS to provide us assistance and did not rush us. She was very patient with us and answered all of our questions. I really don't believe you will find that level of customer service anywhere else. This is the highest price facility around. If your payment is not received by the 4th they start to harass you at every number and contact point you gave them every day! They act like you owe them thousands of dollars and none of them will eat without your payment. They call your emergency contact and harass them as well. When I complained I was told this was their policy and this was there job. If I didn't like it move out. THEY STINK. Rent somewhere else...
