Spray Foam is a closed cell, spray-applied polyurethane foam (SPF) system that creates a seamless, insulating air barrier. SPF is a two component product that when combined forms a dense, hard, insulating material. The dense material is created when the "A" Iso Component is mixed with the "B" Resin Component.
The R-value is a modern fairy tale. It is a fairy tale that has been so touted to the American customer that it now has chiseled in-stone status. But the saddest part of this fairy tale is that the R-value by itself is almost a worthless number. Consider the R-value of an insulation after it has been submersed in water as a 20 mile-per-hour wind blows through it.

I had gone to one of the insulation supply houses looking to buy one of the DIY spray foam insulation kits and the guy I spoke to suggested I call Affordable Spray Foam and highly recommended them. I'm glad he did because Larry was great to work with. He and his guys did a great job and definitely went above and beyond! Well worth hiring him over trying to do this my self!

Larry was great to work with from start to finish. For anyone wondering how well the product works....it’s amazing. My unit barely runs because once the target temp is reached...it holds it really well. All of a sudden, the attic is a temperature controlled space now, so the storage possibilities are not limited like before. Larry is a straight shooter and everything went exactly as planned. I chose him after speaking and getting quotes from 3 other companies. Don’t waste your time time and call this company 1st.

This company was 100% in every way. Good old fashion Southern Values and professionalism. They came when they said they would for the estimate, the estimate was very affordable, they set up the scheduled time for the job that worked best for my schedule and when the job was completed they did everything they said they would do and no evidence of trash or debris was left behind,! Received 3 estimates to remove the blown in insulation in our attic and have spray foam installed. Larry came out and was very knowledgeable while providing their quote. His price was far more reasonable than the others and his team did a great job on the install. Would highly recommend giving them a call.

Larry and Affordable Spray Foam are the go-to in our neighborhood for quality work, and unbeatable prices on insulation. The first time I contacted Affordable Spray Foam I was looking for a quote to have spray foam put in my attic. We have a really weird attic (old Charleston house) with a roof on top of an old roof in some areas. Other spray foam companies offered to do "what they could" for thousands of dollars.
