While removing popcorn from ceilings and replacing it with knockdown texture is a service we offer, we also offer smooth flat ceilings at a much lower cost then our competitors. This process does take longer then applying a knockdown texture, but choosing either product will leave your home with a nice new updated look.

David was painting in my community in Pembroke Pines, and had a casual conversation with a neighbor who was impressed with his knowledge.
When it was time for the interior of my house to be painted I called him and he came over promptly gave me an estimate and off we went with him.
First, he repaired a knockdown seam in the ceiling of the house which took a couple days.
The work was done quickly and efficiently. Not a drop of paint was on anything.
Next his workmen came back to do the walls, baseboards and doors. The foreman took time to discuss our expectations then covered everything in sight

Southern Textures of Florida are without a doubt the best in their business. We had contacted them based on the excellent reviews. And without a doubt these excellent reviews were validated in the outstanding job they performed in removing the popcorn ceiling in our condo living room, dining room, den and kitchen. They were extremely careful and created a plastic bubble protecting the walls, furniture, floor etc. from the debris. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I called a few companies for quotes and Southern Textures gave me the best deal. They removed the old popcorn ceiling and then applied a smooth finish. The ceilings are incredibly smooth! Lorenzo and his guys did amazing work. The whole process took them 3 and a half days (it was a big job with high ceilings). I contacted Southern Textures and received an immediate response. I needed my popcorn removed and had texture added to the ceiling. The appointment was set within minutes of my request and had the worker show up punctually. I received an estimate within 24 hours from the appointment. The price was extremely affordable. I had the incredible fortune to find Southern Textures of Florida to fix and texturize my ceiling. From the first time that I reached out to David the owner I was impressed. David was courteous and responsive right from the beginning. We set up an appointment for an estimate and his worker was at my house right on time.

From the moment we reached out to David we k owe that it was going to be a god job, once the crew arrived they covered all walls and floors inside, in the garage where no work was requested they covered the floor and my motorcycle and event the outside driveway. Above and beyond is what they did. They removed all the popcorn and fixed some issues and sprayed knockdown, and cleaned up extremely well all within 6 hours. What can I say about David Lopez and Southern Textures of Florida? They are everything you could hope for in a company who is doing major work on your home. I hired them to replace the popcorn ceiling (yuck!) in my new home with knockdown texture, paint the ceiling, and paint the walls of the main part of my home. They got it done in three days!
