First off, I am very happy with the end product and service improved at the end of the project, but the biggest complaint I have for this company is a) having to pay an additional $1100 to the landscapers to put back pavers that were removed at the access point and on the side of my house where the pump is. Xterior Creations deemed this to be ‘damage’ and said it was not included in the contract. My comparison is if they had to remove my gate to make access or if they had taken down my block wall, they would have replaced that but they said nope, sorry, that’s damage and you have to pay to

I had a layout of a new pool in mind for the new home that I recently purchased. Looking at pictures, magazines and at other designs, I finally settled on a design that I wanted for my yard. I interviewed and bid the job out to 5 of the leading pool building companies in Las Vegas. I presented them all with the same design so that I could get comparable bids. The winner, Xterior Creations Pools and Spas, was the one that came in the cheapest and the one that had the best ideas as to how to go about building the pool and spa along with the sunken living room. They were knowledgeable and informative

UPDATE: I understand now why so many reviews talk about how great Dan is. He came to our house to personally see what had happened with the irrigation and had the landscapers come out to fix it and pull out the dead/dying plants. We are waiting on replacement plants at this point. They also sent someone out to fix the stucco, and we only found a couple of spots, not several as I said before.
I'm happy to be able to leave a better review. We love our pool. It is exactly what we had envisioned and we use it almost every day. While it was a long process and lacking in communication in the first half

I'm giving this company 3 stars right now and will continue to update my review throughout the process. The 3 stars are because the pool looks to be of reasonably good quality, which is important. I'll share some construction pics now to prove the legitimacy of the post and finished pics later for the end product.
The design phase of my project was amazing, so kudos to Michael. The design he came up with is what I had pictured in my mind. I am happy with the work that he completed.

We definitely had some issues to work out since the start of the pool, ups and downs and then frustration sets in very quickly when things dont get done on time, or when we think they should be done. Im sure covid has effected a few aspects of the build in terms of time frame. We may be more impatient than most but are extremely excited for this pool to be finished for the start of summer. The quality is great so far only had some communication issues.
After getting all this squared away with emails and phone calls Dan and his team are back on track and trying to push things along.

I wanted to give update on our situation. Dan has stepped up and really shown us that customer service is Xterior Creations number one priority. Things may have started off a little rocky, but since then it has been nothing but hard work to ensure our project is done on time. He has even offered to fix issues that were not even his company’s fault. Both myself and wife cannot say enough how about much he has done to correct everything. I was wrong for thinking they did not care. If you need a pool, I will highly recommend Xterior Creations as their dedication to their customer is second to none

I was referred to Dan by our pool designer Jason Karras. Previously in California my husband and I acted as our own contractors in building a pool. We recognized that this time we wanted a turn key service that we would work with but managed the entire project. We are beyond thrilled with the end results. We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Xterior Creations. From our original meeting to the orientation of the equipment they've gone above and beyond with excellent customer service/communication. I was really wowed with the detailed live action rendering they provided us with (even had sounds of the water), and the finished product looks exactly as they designed.

We are beyond pleased with our experience with Xterior Creations. This is our very first pool and they took the time to explain each step along the way. The design process was excellent. Jason was able to take what was in my head and make it better than I could have imagined myself. Dan was in constant contact and was super helpful every step of the way. The different crews that were part of the process from excavation to plaster were all very professional and clean. We are so happy with the paradise they have created for us in our backyard.
