I was eventually choosing between companies and the reviews here helped me to tilt to State-Wide. Maybe I have the tough luck to work with a wrong foreman. However, I would not recommend using them.
The crew made some mistakes such as missing some parts and leaving damages to the wall. I do understand.
However, the foreman tried to leave before the work is over and overcharge the transit time. I corrected the charge and yet gave tips based on the overcharge. When I tried to contact the company afterwards, the foreman denied the situations and claimed that I asked them to leave early because I

Tom did an incredible job moving my mother’s belongings from one apartment to another on very short notice recently. In just a couple of hours, he assembled a team and the move was completed by the afternoon. We were so appreciative! This was the second time we’ve used State-Wide, and we would definitely recommend them. Tom and Michael are are a pleasure to work with and are very professional.

I was very impressed with the job Jason and Brett did in moving my piano and it’s bench. They were on time. Wrapped my piano and bench carefully and insisted on doing everything including pulling back my large area rug to make room for the move. Jason noticed that the bottom of the bench was not secure underneath and one of the legs was slightly loose. When we got to the piano’s destination he fixed the leg and the bottom of the bench. I was extremely impressed and grateful.

The worst experience of my life !! Do not use them! They charged me 1000 over estimate! Cancelled on my scheduled time so I had to pay overnight storage ! Broke my furniture and tried to hide it! Told me I refused insurance that I was never offered! Couldn’t cover my $400 table they broke after I paid them $3000 for moving !!!!!!

Jason, Brett, Wilder showed up on time and were amazing in going right at emptying three large rooms and moving everything out. They scoped it out, moved everything carefully, no issues, no scratches, very quick. Did a few extra things for me with a run in a bedroom - very friendly and professional. Made this very easy - would use them again.

My family used Statewide Moving & Storage on August 21, 2021. From the first phone call to the final drop-off, the company was a pleasure to work with. Michael was accommodating and helpful over the phone; for the move, Jason and Brett were very efficient, professional, careful, and friendly. They made the moving process much less stressful than we anticipated (picking up in NY and dropping off in two separate NJ locations was not a problem), and my family would absolutely hire them again. We highly recommend this company.

Movers Andre, Edgar and Matt. They cared more about our furniture than we did. They packed the things extremely well, were fast and very professional but friendly. Even though they were being paid by the hour, they did not take advantage and try to extend the time. Everything was delivered without a scratch. If your looking for movers these are definitely the ones to go with. I know about movers because 2 years ago I had movers and they weren't even close in comparison to these three wonderful guys. My husband and I recently hired State-Wide for our move from a house we lived in for 33 years. Their team was led by Jason who was very professional, organized, thorough and quick to come up with solutions to any challenges that arose. His team members, Brett and Patricio, were very hardworking and polite.
All of the furniture was delivered without any damage. I have some antique furniture I was worried about, but the team was very careful with everything. My husband and I want to give a big thank you to State-Wide, and specifically to Jason and his team for the outstanding job they did.

Moving is stressful enough then you add State-Wide and you get a moving nightmare! Unprofessional and irresponsible. From rescheduling my appointment the morning off my move, damaging my property, to bullying me in to paying before they unloaded the truck, this was the most horrible experience and a testament to the greed and lack of integrity behind this company!! Read all the reviews! There’s a pattern of misconduct with this company!!
