December 8, 2021-Work began for the new roof. Siding Installation (work began on or about December 20, 2021) and windows and doors wrapped. We were hoping for a mid-November start date, which we found out could not be accommodated due to product/material availability which affected the schedule. However, we had a good experience with Exterior Medics for our update/upgrade of our home at Keeler Street, in Alexandria, VA for new siding, gutters and a new roof. Our representative, Ron Rodriguez, was very responsive when we reached out to him with questions and concerns

They cleaned up very nicely after the installation. If your going to get a 50 year warranty on your roof, it's nice to work with a company that's likely to be around in 50 years.

As a remodeling contractor who just didn’t have the time to get our basement windows replaced, I was pleased to do business was with Tony from Exterior Medics. Everything takes longer to get these days, and I appreciated Tony checking in with me regularly to let me know what was going on, even when it was news that the windows weren’t quite ready yet. He kept me in the loop.
The two gentlemen who came to install were professional, friendly, and clearly knew what they were doing. I plan to let them do the rest of my windows soon.

We found this company through BEST PICK REPORTS, Quality Home Services Guide. Their sales consultant Julien was extremely thorough in identifying the issues with existing roof. He gave us a detailed presentation of the existing issues and how roof replacement could resolve these issues. Their process is very detailed and professional. We got two quotes for replacing all of the gutters on our home with 6 inch gutters. Exterior Medics' quote was considerably less expensive, and Ron, who came out to give us the estimate, was incredibly helpful and responsive (I texted him a few times afterwards). The crew worked quickly and efficiently, and Tony, our project manager, sent them out a couple times to adjust a couple things to our preferences. The gutters and downspouts look great. We're very pleased with the responsiveness and work of Exterior Medics.

All the staff was very professional and the detail of the roofing services offered was excellent. The presentation about the company, the evaluation and inspection of the roof from the inside and outside was impressive. I also appreciated the honesty of the answers to questions and realized that there were items that were not needed. No sales pitch just facts about the job. As with many companies, the job needed to be scheduled which was about six weeks after contract signing. The quality of the work was superb! Exterior Medics repaired our roof and chimney. We have worked with them before and they did a great job then - and now. Very professional, with a great crew. Masonry and rebuilding an awning with gutter was professionally done. The subcontracted deck preparation and staining team was not. Half of the prep time for the deck the crew was just streaming videos and texting others. Needed to bring manager to site. I will update after winter whether the quality of the prep work was worth the $$$.

Over the past year I have been getting various things done around the VA homestead. One thing that I had resisted for 17 years was the installation of a "storm door." In Florida I call them "screen doors" even when they are not screen. Well, I gave in and had a very nice storm door installed by a fantastic company right in my neck of the woods. ExteriorMedics completed the job 49 days ago. Today, the salesperson came to my house for the third time (after I got three separate phone calls from someone else) asking me if I liked the work they did.
I wish they were this attentive when I needed help with my house.
It's kind of creepy having someone wait outside your house for a while during the day. Send me a message, and I'll show you the doorbell camera videos, recent call list on my phone, and the emails.

Exterior Medics should have been my first phone call. I had a water leak issue with the exterior of my home. Another contractor came out and wasn't able to figure out the problem. Chris from EM came out for an assessment and was very thorough, getting on the roof and checking the attic to determine where the problem could be coming from. After reviewing the photos with his team, a plan was presented via Zoom which we agreed upon. Tony, the Project Manager, kept me informed with scheduling and throughout the entire process. Requested estimate to replace 1 sq ft of stone veneer (2 pieces) that fell off the lower corner of my chimney. They broke off nice and clean so they were going simply put them back where they were. Was excited to have them do the work as they have great reviews and their previous work portfolio seemed like their work was in line with the level of home we have. To put a piece of lath and put them back on was quoted at $980!!!! It felt like they have a different price list for higher value homes than regular customers as that quote was double any estimate I have ever received from other master masons

We have 6-8 exterior projects to do so I contacted Exterior Medics thinking we could sole source all the work, but the customer service was awful and the salesman didn't seem to know much about exterior work and was unable to answer basic questions. (The overall)

After my review and tons of emails,my husband gave in and contracted Home Exterior to do our siding. Heck, I guess he also was tired of dealing with quotes. The work is done... very happy with the results. Crew that came to the house was very good, respectful and helpful, although messy (destroyed my patio), they blame it on the rain I blame it on absence of care:(. Anyway, even though the whole process was a pain (getting them to come to the house, quote, start of the project and the length it took from start to finish) we are happy with the work they've done. I recommend HE to hire more

Exterior Medics has been fantastic in every way. We had a smell coming from somewhere in our office we couldn't quite identify. Some days were worse than others. Exterior Medics quickly diagnosed the problem as mold in our windows. Yuck! They worked with our office condo management company to fix the problem, which was incredibly helpful. EM did sliding job for my house , they did an ok job. They had to go back and refinish the job the second time , did not complete the job the first time .
Overall the workmanship was good but for the money I paid , the job should be completed the first time. I would think twice to use them on my other properties . Over rated !

My husband and I had an absolutely positive experience with this company!! So much, that we have called them back for additional work and quotes.
Upon moving into our home, we discovered ongoing leaks in the roof that were not disclosed during closing. EM Luke came out, gave us a quote and followed up with the work. They got it right on the first try and the work was worth the money.

I'm a retired handyman with almost 40 years experience so know a thing or two about what things cost and what quality looks like. I had an estimate for replacing a skylight for almost $2000. I decided to do it myself. It took two half days to complete and I spend less than $350 for all the materials. The same materials that EM was going to use.
Also today I saw some of their workmen attempting to fix a dented canopy in Rosslyn. What a mess they made of it.

This review is limited to an encounter with an estimator for Exterior Medics and how this company took advantage of my next door neighbor.
My husband and I live in a semi-detached house that shares a chimney. Our next door neighbor, a naïve first-time home owner, contracted with Exterior Medics to replace the roof and refurbish the chimney.
The new home owner thought it would be nice if the chimney we shared with her property was completely refurbished. So, she gave us the estimator's phone number and we made the call.

Don't know the quality of work, this was just based on turn around time for a quote. It took a month to get a quote back by that time we already went with someone else. Most roofers have is a quote on site. They came out looked at it and had to go back to the office and wait for the following weeks meeting before they could think of giving one. So we went with a different company
One of the senior workers of the company did provide a phone call to me explaining that this is not how they do business and apologized for the delay. That was nice for customer service to provide that follow up
