These guys are wonderful! They are family owned business. Not only do they do a fantastic job, but they go above and beyond. We have used them to paint multiple homes over the years and are currently using them to help repair some work on our home. These guys are not only a wonderful value, but the care about the work that they do. Steve has gone above and beyond for us. They are knowledgeable and trustworthy and want you to understand the work they are doing. If we have any future projects on our home we will most certainly be calling them.

EDIT: I wrote a more detailed review here 11 days ago, but I got a Cease and Desist letter from a lawyer representing Gust, so I took down the details they contested in the letter because I've decided I don't want to waste the time, energy and money, nor experience what I feel would be emotionally damaging to relive with this company in court.
I hired Gust to install hardwood flooring in one of my rental units, which began falling apart immediately, without anyone ever occupying the unit (i.e., no furniture, just people walking through once in a while to estimate other work). I was told

We recently used Gus Renovations and we're pleased. It's family owned and the father and two sons do the work. Mother runs the office and organizes schedules and repairs. They are no nonsense and although you may wait a little longer than you want (busy schedules), I'd agree with other reviewers-they are worth it. Great value and they care about their work. We will use them again!

The best paint job I have seen in a while. Gust LLC did three of our rooms. Our painter, one of the owners, was meticulous, professional, and fast. He had a wonderful, artistic eye. I cannot wait to book this company again. We booked online and it was seamless. Highly recommend this family-run business!

Well patience paid off. I was finally able to work with Gust and I'm happy to say it was worth the wait. They gave me professional advice as to what colors to choose and explained to me the pricing. I had some "trouble spots" on some walls and ceilings due to water damage and also some cracks from the earthquake a few years ago but Michael was able to fix them. I am generally pleased with their work and their professionalism and would recommend them.

I recently hired Gust (family owned business) to paint my 550 sq ft apartment. Upon hiring them, I had a few informational phone calls with co-owner Steven who answered my many many questions about services, pricing, paint brands, etc. I knew immediately I wanted to work with Gust because they were professional and experienced.

I bought a couple of different groupons for a couple of different painters and Gust was BY FAR the best of the lot. I'm already booking them to do some more work in my home. They were prompt, tidy, and did excellent painting. I had them do three bedrooms (all over carpet) and there wasn't an errant drop ANYWHERE. They were super nice guys to boot- I felt totally comfortable with them there and would recommend them to my mother if she ever asked (or moved to Virginia). My appointment got moved because of weather and they were communicative throughout the whole process and were really concerned

I wish i could give more stars. I hired them to come in and do my painting in my new house and they were the most professional and knowledgeable guys around! They showed up on time, did great work, and had so much advice to give us as new homeowners. They were also very trustworthy as we had to leave them alone in the house several times throughout the day.

Good, but not great. I've seen better lines done by plenty of other painters. I am kicking myself for not going with another painter. My wife did a living social deal and we decided to use them. It took them 4 days to paint 1000 SF and it was good but not great. They should've taped if there lines were not perfect. Nice guys, just not the best painters!

I purchased the Living Social certificate for the painting of two rooms. It actually ended up being one large living room that needed to be painted. I could not have been happier with the service and quality of work from this family owned company. First, the work was done impeccably well and in great time. Michael also helped me move the furniture and back and kept the area amazingly clean. What I definitely liked is that these guys do the work themselves. They don't farm it out to subs. Rather it seems that they take pride in the work and helping their customers.
