At Anderson Solar Controls, we believe we can build a better future by creating and conserving energy. Anderson Solar Controls carefully assesses each residential or business site, designing a solar system that will generate the highest return and efficient use of energy. Our products, installation, and service are affordable and dependable.
We come and measure the roof, or landscape for a proper solar fit, as we find the manual method is always more accurate than a software/satellite measurement. We have developed excellent relations with our suppliers, which enables us to provide a vast variety of equipment options. We hope you'll contact Anderson Solar Controls to discuss your solar energy and/or home controls needs.
We are empowering others to go solar by assisting them to install the solar themselves; hence saving on the labor costs. The past successes here have been completed by do-it-yourself-ers, and general contractors. We provide the design, permit, solar equipment, and a few hours on the roof to train.

How does solar energy work? A Photovoltaic (PV) solar system works to convert sunlight into electricity using solar cells in panels. These panels are mounted in a place which provides maximal exposure to sunlight. For this reason, the most common place to mount solar panels is on the roof of the building they are generating electricity for.
Imagine leaving your home, and with the touch of a finger, setting your home on away mode. You home control system turns off all lights and appliances, sets your security system, and sets your thermostat at an energy saving level. Imagine the time and money you'll save! Anderson Solar Controls designs, services, and installs control systems for homes and commercial buildings.

Brian Anderson has worked on my Solar Controls for over 10 years and has always been on time, on budget and professional. In addition to new installations he provides GREAT support and repairs. Shortly after our system went up, two more people used him just up the street. I would recommend Anderson Solar Controls for all your photovoltaic installation and support needs.

It has been just over a year since Brian finished the installation of our solar electric system. In short, the system has met all of our expectations regarding performance and reliability. We did have a surplus of electrical output this part year - most likely due to the extremely mild winter that we experienced. In a 'normal' year, I would say that we would probably would have produced as much energy as we used which was our design goal.

Let me echo the other glowing reviews. Anderson Solar is a standout in a local market distinguished by very competent contractors. From his careful measurement of sun and shade, his expert knowledge of panel manufacturers, and on-time,on-budget installation Brian is a solar superstar.
Brian - because he does his own sales, marketing, and engineering, requires less margin and his bid is likely to be more competitive than other contractors. The system he designed for our house was priced well below any other.
Brian was also particularly helpful in sizing the system to achieve the 85% sweet

Not only are we happy with our decision to install a solar system on our house (we pretty much no longer pay for electricity anymore), but we were grateful that the installation was done by Brian at Anderson Solar Controls. Brian was extremely courteous and professional. He showed up when he said he would and even completed the job earlier then expected.
When we did have an issue with our inverter (something wrong with the circuitry), Brian came out right away and handled all communications with the manufacturer to get us a replacement inverter at no cost to us, he also installed the new inverter
