Steam 'N Clean Carpet Cleaning was founded in 2007 by prominent members of the San Diego business community. We use only the methods that manufacturers and fabric fiber producers recommend when cleaning your carpets, area rugs, Oriental rugs, tile, upholstery and air ducts. Steam 'N Clean Carpet Cleaning is environmentally conscious.
Carpeting doesn't even contribute significantly to dust mite allergies. Because dust mite allergen is difficult to disturb, reactions may only be exacerbated by direct surface contact or direct inhalation from surfaces, such as pillows, mattresses or hand to nose. The only way carpeting can contribute to dust mite allergies is if it is not properly maintained.
Grout is a mixture of cement, color, and sand. It is porous and, as a result, grout easily absorbs grease, dirt and lime scale. Floor manufacturers recommend that you have your tile and grout cleaned once every 12 to 18 months because regular mopping just doesn't reach the stubborn dirt that lies deep in the pores of your grout lines, but our high-pressure cleaning process does.
But, what they may not know is that carpets and rugs are made out of very different materials, which is why cleaning an area rug or an Oriental rug is not the same thing as cleaning a carpet. Regular maintenance, like vacuuming and immediate spot cleaning when spills occur will help keep an area rug looking nice.

I booked online for the whole house deal of $149. At first I asked for 7 rooms and a hall and was quoted $209 because the inline deal only covers 5 rooms. Understandable. Although the guy who came was nice, he did not wear a mask (during COVID) and looked at my carpet and said to actually deep clean it that it would be $649. This made no sense to me when we're replacing the carpet in less than a year. Once it dried there are still many stains. I could have gotten the same quality job from my own personal machine. We ended up doing only 5 rooms and a hall and was still charged $200. I do not

Booked a carpet cleaning service online, which was listed as $25 service (website stated each so I'm assuming per room). The website says nothing about a minimum, or that they cannot service high rises. On the day of my service, during the service window time, I was called to say they couldn't service my apartment, even though I live on the first floor and the van could've parked outside my balcony. I was also told it was an $81 minimum. So unprofessional to not call in advance to confirm that I did not live in an apartment and that the website doesn't state anywhere that there

Company gets 1 star because my carpets were actually cleaned, otherwise I would drop my stars to 0 for customer service, false quote, intimidation by technician, and gross practices performed in my home.
I explained in detailed over the phone that we had an accident with olive oil and have a few spots we needed treated due to the oil. Was quoted $59 for 2 rooms and $1 per square foot for area rug 6x4 area rug. When technician arrived he exaggerated the condition of our carpet (shoes are never worn in our home) and stated the ONLY way to clean the carpet was to "pre-treat" with chemicals

Horrible company. Found this company online on Groupon for my sister thinking they would be reputable. She made an appointment, the guy called an hour later and said he's gonna be an hour late. ( he was already late). Then came 3 hours late. We called before we bought the groupon to see if he can do the stairs instead of 2 other rooms. They said that's no problem. The guy shows up and says he needs to speak to his manage before he does the stairs. Goes to his van, then leaves. We called the company and this guy was saying that he would never do stairs for the price we paid. Do not go

Called several days ago to book my appointment for today. They took the job and then tried to reschedule on me yesterday. I couldn't reschedule because I had a deadline to get my carpets cleaned today to avoid a penalty. I would have called a different company if I knew they were the no show type. They said they would make it work and then never showed... Called multiple times and received no answer.
Avoid these guys, I'd give 0 stars if I could. They are unreliable and I'm sure there are more highly reputable businesses with integrity to choose from.

I scheduled an appointment for a couch cleaning at 10:30 AM. Someone calls me at 11:30 and tells me he was on his way and that he was going to arrive in 30 minutes. I waited and waited, an hour later I call.. and there's no answer. They wasted 3 and a half hours out of my day waiting for them. When finally I get a call back from the company, they tell me that the person that was supposed to come had "a family emergency" and they offered to reschedule for another day.. they completely neglected the fact that I had literally waited for 3 and a half hours. They offered a 5% discount

Lousy don't bother. Made appt a couple weeks in advance for a Saturday cleaning. Was told they would contact me a day or two prior to service but did not. No instead I contacted them on Thursday for my Saturday cleaning. Was assured about my appointment only to have them no show at the last minute. Couldn't call ahead of time and tell me so I could have tried to hire another company...nah instead they chickened out and had an after hours girl call Friday night. So my walk through on Saturday was a disaster. Stay away from this company. Now Im forced to give them one star when zero stars

Called around San Diego carpet cleaners and this company and another quoted me about the same price. Chose this one due to my time availability. When the girl answered the phone to book the appointment it sounded like I was calling a friend who accidentally pressed Answer while laughing and eating food. She was still cracking up at a joke before she could finally answer. I asked multiple times if they would charge more than the quoted cost and she assured me no.

First off, this is the first bad yelp review I have ever left! I am extremely disappointed in this company!!!! Not only did they change the time of our appointment last minute but they were not upfront about the cost. It was suppose to be $65 and ended up being $130 because we had pet stains. That's the whole reason I wanted my carpets cleaned!!!! Anyways, they only took about 30 minutes to do three rooms and a hallway meaning they put not time or effort into trying to get any of our stains out. Basically they came and got our carpets wet- No stains out and smells the same. Horrible horrible

I had a few bad stains I wanted cleaned. Brian did a good job of getting them out. He did a great job. I didn't give these guys a full 5 stars because the carpet area where it was heavily walked on still looked sort of spotty. It may be because it was really bad and the carpet is light- I would use them again though. They were quick and extremely responsive!

On time. Proffesional and quality results, what else can you ask for? My couch suffered some scars after hosting a NYE pre/post party. Cory came to the rescue and did an amazing job! He was very detailed oriented, quick and courteous. I will definitely be coming back.
