I've never met Cris, but I blindly paid him to refinish some original, very scratched-up, top-nailed oak flooring and install new flooring to more closely match the originals. It really paid off! He was super communicative throughout the process, quickly answered any questions I had, and sent me photos of his progress, which was very helpful as I was out-of-state.

We had floors both installed and refinished by Cris and his team. They did a beautiful job both in designing the job and executing it. We had a water leak which caused a floor issue. We then replaced, sanded, stained and added hardwoods to our living room. Cris and team did a fabulous job. Great guys, on time and did all the little things to make sure everything was perfect.

I had hardwood floors that were sun damaged and had a few other areas of damage from the previous owners. Plus one room I wanted the carpet removed and replaced with hardwoods that matched the rest of the house. Cris and his crew did a great job and exceeded my expectations. The workers were polite and professional, Cris was always able to answer any questions I had, and the entire process took less time than I expected. The price, the quality work, the customer service, all was very satisfactory. I can highly recommend Portland Hardwood Flooring!

The process of connecting with Cris to obtain a proposal was easy. We found him to be professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. On the day work was to begin, his worker showed up right on time and was very polite and professional. The sanding part of the job was well done, with plastic sheeting put up to contain the dust. And the refinished floors turned out great – we are delighted with how they look.
The prep work could have been better as the base boards and carpet on the stair landing were not masked prior to staining, resulting in the carpet on the stairs being stained. Fortunately

Cris and his team did a beautiful job refinishing our hardwood floors. Cris responded to my phone call and came to give me an estimate the same day. They were able to schedule us the next week. We are so happy with the look of our hardwood floors. We chose a water based finish, it looks beautiful and has hardly any odor. I would not hesitate to use Portland Hardwood Flooring again!

Portland Hardwood Flooring done an outstanding job for me. Im a contractor working for a very particular client. Cris and his crew came in and done a flawless job for us. Installing a new red oak floor. And he done a color match as well. We were working in a condo downtown portland. Which hoa has many rules to follow. They were followed to the tee. I would highly recommend. Portland hardwood flooring. And Cris can in under budget by a few hundred dollars. Way to go Cris and team.

What a standout company! My kitchen floor was damaged by a leak. The first two companies I called were either dismissive, said they couldn't come for a week, or gave a crazy estimate. Cris was a breath of fresh air. He answered my call right away, came to look at the problem and give an estimate that day, gave a complete and clear explanation of the problem and how to fix it, and didn't try to upsell. His team came on time, was clean and polite, and did a first-rate job. My floor looks better than when I bought the house! I will definitely use this company again.

I can not even begin to express how the work that Portland Hardwood Flooring did for us surpassed our expectations. We had a burn mark in the middle of our oak hard wood flooring about the size of a grape fruit. It occurred when a heat lamp that was left face down in the middle of the floor came on by automatic timer. Cris came out as soon as I called him and that was a pleasant surprise since I know that most companies would not consider this type of project a priority. Cris and his team just finished my project and I love my floors. We had carpeting/padding removed in two rooms and replaced with Red Oak planks that matched our existing entry wood floors. Our project involved newly installed wood, sanding and re-finishing existing. You can't tell the old floors from the new. Cris stayed right on budget and on time. I appreciate the small company aspect of Cris and his team because they're going to do whatever it takes to make it right. And they respected my budget. I'd highly recommend them for flooring.

Portland Hardwood Flooring far surpassed my expectations! Cris was great to work with and my floors turned out fantastic. Cris refinished and re-stained my Cherrywood floors. I had the floors darkened and they turned out amazing. Cris was on time, stayed on budget, and wasn't happy until we were happy. I can't recommend him enough. He also recently came out to fix a scratch a year after the job, no charge. Who still does things like that? Great company.

We just had our hardwoods refinished, and I am very, very happy with the results. We got a great price and had excellent service. We left them at our house for the week, and were updated via phone along the way. Everything went as smoothly as anyone can hope during such a disruptive time!
