Established in 2003, our company's founding goal was to provide knowledgeable and professional expertise for home performance contracting, indoor air quality, and energy issues in new construction and existing homes. However, we not only wanted to offer a variety of services; we wanted to do it right.
The Building Performance Institute (BPI) is the nation's leading building science accreditation organization. BPI sets the standards for working on existing homes using the "house as a system" philosophy. This philosophy looks at how the components of a home, work together to maximize comfort and health.
Receive rebates of up to $9,000 for energy efficient new construction residential building. We are participating contractors in the Duke Energy Progress HERO residential new construction program. This program offers $1,000 to $9,000 in rebates to builders and developers who build energy efficient new construction residential projects in what they call the "Legacy Progress Territory".

We've had Skye and Building Performance Specialists perform both formal and informal reviews of myriad projects for many years. And to good effect. BPS is smart about building science and they convey information plainly at whatever level we require-- be it homeowner, trade person, engineer, project manager, etc. BPS is very committed to their work. Upon asking for an estimate was told it would be $150. When I asked about some details someone named Sky began screaming that he had a thousand things to do and that he was done talking with me. As he continued to rant, I hung up on him. He obviously can't handle having any business or any customers.
