TL;DR: Our issue was not fixed, but we were still charged $125. And after the visit, our garage door began opening by itself.

Normally, this is something I would research and tackle on my own, but since the garage door opener was an older model (incompatible with the universal garage door openers from Home Depot) and I had other things that I needed to get done, I decided to hand it off to Oregon City Garage Door, as their business card was taped to the opener.

Mike from Oregon City Garage door came out to fix a minor issue with my door. He found a systemic issue with the door opener and overall performance for the type of garage door that I have. They fixed the issue and upgraded my opener. The issue was resolved quickly and all under warranty no hassles to get the door covered. Mike had wonderful customer service and most importantly listened to my concerns and worked to find the best possible outcome. My door now operates like it should seamlessly and silent.

This company installed a new garage door for me last fall. After the door was installed, the employee who installed the door tried to tell me that the motor was no longer working (specifically that it started smoking and would be dangerous to use again) and would need to be replaced as well (an additional $400 - $600). He told me I definitely shouldn't use the electric opener without having it replaced. Fortunately my ex-husband came over and looked at it and there was nothing wrong with it. It's been working totally fine ever since then. I told the company what happened, and respectfully asked

I called OC garage door to have a bracket repaired on a panel. What I got was way more than that. I believe it was Tim that did the service. He was on time when said, called when he was close, and very curtious with a profesional manner the entire time he was at my home. After explaining exactly what was going to be done for the repair, I said go ahead! After he was done, it was done just as he said. The kicker was he told me he serviced both my doors as well as part of the service call. That kind of above and beyond wins my service here on out. Every year OC Garage Door will be servicing my doors

BUYER BEWARE. To summarize, the customer service of Oregon City Garage Door was completely negligent. We ordered garage doors (that were marked up an extra 12% from the previous year) and the incorrect product was installed. I had to go to a local hardware store to figure out how to temporarily fix a mistake that Oregon City Garage Door made. We had to live with the incorrect windows while the corrected product were "rush ordered". Turns out just the windows took just as long as an entire garage door unit. Spoke to the owner on the phone and he got defensive accusing me of pointing fingers. All

Never in my life, would I have thought that I would have a strong opinion about a garage door installation company. Tom, the installer and garage door super specialist (I think his name was Tom) came to my home bright and early. He expertly removed our springs loaded, old, rotted out garage door from the 1950's and thoroughly installed our new insulated, quiet, belt driven, phone activated, garage door. Tom was extremely kind, and even let me throw in a new piece of molding prior to him mounting anything. He pretended to stay busy, I assume so I didn't feel guilty while I made him wait. I didn
