John installed our new kitchen faucet and repaired our bathroom sink stoppers. He did a great job!
He was very professional, honest and the price he quoted us was a fair price. Before leaving he had us inspect everything to make sure we were completely satisfied with his work. I would use John and Drake Mechanical again.

Cody was amazing! We contacted Drake for a quote, and Cody was there fast, discussing the project and quoting us a fair and competitive price. Even in Boise's insane market, he was able to come out again a few days later and install/pipe our gas range hood vent in a very speedy and professional manner. He also offered advice and expertise on the other remodel projects we were working on at that time, saving us from making a crucial and potentially very costly mistake. Was doing a we bit of traveling through Idaho and Montana in me RV. Pulled into a petrol station to fill up me rig. Next to me I saw a Drake mechanical plumbing van. I asked the chap if he knew anything about RV toilets as we had ourselves a we bit of a clog. He said they don't work on RV's but none the less Greg came inside me RV and took look at it. He quickly unscrewed the toilet from the floor and cleared a towel that must have been thrown down there by accident. We had an emergency and we were referred to Drake by a trusted friend. Greg came out right away and found a clog in our mainline causing an overflow. It took a couple visits but seems to be doing great now. First visit cost was very reasonable!! We all thought it was good-to-go, but we needed a follow-up a few days later- Drake were extremely busy but Greg came out the day after the call and found an unusual underlying issue, and was able to fix it that day. Second visit cost was about what you’d expect from any premium plumber, i doubt many people will have to worry about a second visit for

Once again, I highly recommend Drake Mechanical after a recent water filtration system installation in my home. Thomas spent time explaining the differences between softener and filtration systems allowing me to make the best choice for me. He did a great job installing the system including adding a 2x4 board to secure the device. He was on time and kept me informed of what he was doing. These are the people you need. They are so we'll connected to this community. When I was a kid mom would call Drake mechanical whenever something went wrong. Wow. I can't believe the other reviews. We have a boiler system and would not use any other business. Drake completely rebuilt our boiler system using cooper pipes instead of PVC and the system has run perfectly. We did have a pinpoint leak in our hot water tank and when I called Drake they were here in 30 min or less. The part was just slightly out of warranty and they were kind enough to give us a discount on the labor. Everyone we have talked to there or had come to the house has always been kind and considerate. The cost of service has always been reasonable.

I called Drake to install a 50 gallon hot water heater in a rental. The technician enlisted my tenant to help move the new water heater from.his truck into the garage. The lady of the house came home at midnight and opened the door to the garage and was almost overcome by gas fumes. Long story short, the gas company told her to call the fire department and they dispatched a repair person too. A leak was found caused by the installation. SHORT STORY if you are having an emergency or under a time crunch to get something fixed...THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO CALL very inconsiderate customer service. They don't talk to you before or after they leave your property and you can probably count on them not showing up on time or at all in my experience. We waited hours for them not to even show up or give us a courtesy call.

Tech that came out for our quote was nice and capable but charged us $39 (none of the other companies I got a quote from charged us anything for a quote). Quote received was literally 4x my other two quotes ! I understand some variance, but seriously 4 times the others AND i had to pay $39 for a visit when all else are free???? Inexcusable.
I even tried to call to inquire as to why they are 4x the other guys to see if maybe they saw something important that the others missed... but am being ignored by the service manager. Bottom line- you MUST Get multiple quotes if you are considering these guys

Call them to come out to fix my toilet I was told that Just to drive to my house it was 165.00 not to touch any thing but just to drive here. I was shocked so I said "Jesus your not doctors" Bill told me that now because I used that kind of language he woundn't come out today at all. I hope they have lots of other customers because they just lost us.

We had Drake come out to fix a gas fireplace that wasn't working. They said they fixed the problem and left and approximately four hours later I left to go to the store and came back to smell a gas leak. I called them and told them there was a problem and it took over two hours for the on-call person to call me back, at no point did they ever tell me to ventilate my house or turn off the gas or how to turn off the gas.
