We provide a full range of chimney cleaning and repair services, as well as fireplace accessories, throughout the Peninsula and Southside area (see list to the right). Since we started Ace Chimney Sweep in 2010, we've been committed to quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
After sweeping hundreds of chimneys throughout the Peninsula and Southside areas, we've learned that your #1 worry about your fireplace is whether or not it's safe to use. As Certified Chimney Sweeps, we know what to look for, how to fix it and how to prevent problems that could cause a dangerous chimney fire in the future.
Parts: Chimney liners, caps and components all come with a lifetime warranty through the manufacturer. Each project is different, and requires different parts. An absolute mess of a company. Ace is unreliable, unprofessional, with very little knowledge. They lead us believe they performed the work and t was completed when it wasn't. No difference! I have called Ace over 5 times in the past month and I have also left multiple texts. to discuss this. No response at all. I would highly recommend a different t oath for our needs.

The two gentlemen that performed the services were an absolute pleasure. They arrived on time and were extremely courteous and well-mannered. They were cautious while working and kept us informed throughout the process. In addition to working quickly and efficiently, they cleaned up after themselves before leaving. Ace did me solid. You want to use these guys. We originally set up an appointment for Monday. Monday morning I got a call saying "we can't make it.... could we reschedule". I really appreciated the call as many of the people I'm contracting with these days don't seem to know how to use a telephone. Either that or they don't show up at all. I understand people get behind sometimes. Ryan didn't try to shine me on with any nonsense, he just straight up told me the problem. So! We reschedule for Wednesday at noon. 12:03 one of Ryan's crew shows up

STAY AWAY!!! Contacted Ace based on their Angie's List reviews. Had them come out to do an estimate prior to some tenants moving in. Stressed the importance of getting the work done before the tenants moved in. Rearranged the appointment so the work could get done in time. Inspector came and said we had to pay via check as they said they didn't take credit cards (never had this happen before - will never fall for this again!). Was told they will email report of items that need repair. Was also told that cost of inspection could be applied to cost of repairs. To this date we still

This company was wonderful! They were up-front and honest right from the first phone call. They discussed their very reasonable pricing from the start. They were very prompt with their arrival for service and explained everything they saw in our fireplace, as well as teaching me a few things about our fireplace. They took pictures from the top of the chimney and explained everything they saw and what to look out for in regards to that as well. To say I was pleased with their service is an understatement. I would highly recommend them and will utilize them in the future.

We bought a house and knew nothing about chimneys since we're originally from southern california. When we used it for warmness/prettiness purposes, it smelled weird and yucky and smoke would always blow back into the house.
I decided to call Ace for an inspection and possible cleaning and it was one of the best decisions I've made! We have an insert that the previous owners installed and they pulled it out, cleaned the heck out of it and taught me the basics of fireplaces (awesome). They also installed an insulation strip thingy it was missing which was what was causing the smoke

Showed up on time, took the time to answer my many questions about my chimney( I'm from southern Florida, I'm still new to this whole winter thing) and explained it all. Good job on the clean, no mess, good price especially with the value pak coupon from the mail. Only $109 for a cleaning, which includes an inspection. He also fixed the damper for free since it was just unaligned or something. He itemized and showed me all of the costs of repairs/ upgrades and why they're important. Took and emailed me before and after pictures. Will use agin next winter.

I had very high hopes when I contacted Ace. I needed some masonry work performed on the chimney. I contacted Ace, explained my situation and Ryan came out to give it a look. He called after the inspection, said work was definitely needed and he would get back with an estimate. After a week there was no word and I called back. The receptionist said Ryan was still working on an estimate and would be back in touch in a couple of days. A week later, still no word. I called and left a message asking for a call back to let me know if he was still interested in doing the job. I have not heard back. I

Great service overall. I was very pleased with the professionalism of the employees that serviced the worker (I believe it was the owner and a technician). They showed up on time and finished within the projected time limit estimation.
The owner was responsive with communication leading up to initial service and follow up service. He thoroughly explained how he would perform the cleaning of the chimney and installation of chimney cap.
Lastly, the prices were very competitive with other chimney service providers in the area.
