Owning afireplace is a great way to relax and enjoy yourself with friends and family, but it also comes with a lot of responsibility. If you're the owner of a home with a fireplace, you probably don't think about the importance of having an inspection and cleaning out your chimney regularly. Most homeowners are happy to go on using their fireplace not realizing how damaging failure to clean out the chimney can be.
Leaking chimneys may need to be treated with water repellent in addition to re-pointing failed and/or deteriorated mortar joints on the exterior of the chimney. Sometimes re-pointing alone does not solve the water entry problem, the masonry and brickwork can absorb water like a sponge. To test for this we perform a Masonry Absorption Test (MAT) which measures the rate of absorption.
We offer three types of liners. Stainless steel liners are often a good choice for furnace or boilers flues. HomeSaver is a brand of stainless steel liner that is unsurpassed in strength and protection. A cast in-place liner is a slurry mix of a special formulated masonry product. The mix flows into the nooks and crannies and adds a tremendous amount of structural integrity to the chimney.
We offer copper, stainless steel, and galvanized chimney caps in large variety of standard and custom sizes. Copper and stainless steel chimney caps come with a lifetime manufacturer's warranty. Custom lids or bonnets are available in 3 styles: flat, hip, hip& ridge. Most of our single flue chimney caps can be secured directly to the flue liner.

Very disappointed with my experience with this company. I called to get a quote for a gas stove installed. They sent their employee who charged me $100 to quote me, this wasn't told to me on the initial call, only at the end of the onsite visit to quote. I was told it would be removed from cost of the installation however they were unresponsive to calls and emails multiple times afterwards that I gave up moving forward with them. Would sadly not recommend.

My sister recommended Black Goose. I found them very punctual, friendly, professional. I had them check my fireplace, they also clean gutters, since I just bought the home and the gutters were horrible, I had them clean them, they did an awesome job, and quickly. I would gladly recommend them to friends, and use them again in the future.
