They are significantly more expensive than their competitors and they do not stand by their work! The countertop wasn't installed properly so now there is a small lip at the seam which is causing it to become discolored. I asked if they would come back to fix the issue and they said that they aren't responsible for the discoloration, and gave me the name of a shop that could repair it (for several hundred more dollars)...their product is the same as everybody else's and their customer service is awful. Save your money!

Same experience as others. Contacted Sullivan to set up an appointment to look at countertops. That took multiple emails and calls. After waiting weeks to spend an hour in the showroom, I promptly followed instructions and sent an estimate to their preferred email address. I received an automated response that it would take 3-5 days. Then nothing. I waited ten days to send a follow up. Nothing. I waited an additional almost three weeks to send a third follow up. Nothing.

We were looking for a very minimal countertop and we found Corian to be the right material for our Kitchen. We didn't have to pay for samples and the whole process was very smooth and easy...if we choose to do Corian in our new place, we will hire SC without any doubt. Ah, after 2 years we asked for the invoice because we couldn't find it anywhere and they responded very quickly...it's hard to find companies that still offer a good customer service even if it doesn't imply a sell.

After Sullivan did a great job of installing a custom-edge corian countertop many years ago, we immediately thought of them for our new bathroom countertops. We were not disappointed. From Tina's help in the selection process to management working with us through remodeling issues, they were among the best part of our experience. Their installers are expert in what they do, and the finished product couldn't be better.

I scheduled a consultation with Tina in the showroom. She was wonderful and explained the estimating process. She said it would be 3 weeks between the measure appointment before a fabricated counter could be installed. We followed the process she outlined to a "t" and submitted a request for estimate. Nothing. I suppose I could have chased it down, but based on reviews here, it was confirmation of the type of experience I would be in for. I sent identical info to 3 other companies. Got bids right away. Went with a company in San Carlos which has always responded to my questions

Sullivan installed a practical, great-looking Corian countertop and sink to replace our bathroom vanity top. The designers understood what we wanted; the measurers and installers were efficient and able to work with an existing cabinet and tiled space. We are very pleased with the service and finished product!

We purchased a Cambria quartz counter for our kitchen remodel and are very pleased. Customer service was great -- the template and estimate were completed quickly -- and the installers were professional and thorough. Everyone was masked through the entire process so we felt extremely safe. And although their pricing was significantly higher than Home Depot, we went with them for their expertise and for peace of mind since we had a complicated radius edge island. Highly recommend!

I have a bar in San Francisco and I contacted Sullivan Countertops to make and install a new bar top. They gave me prices for Quartz and Corian, I chose the Quartz and it looks terrific. The people at Sullivan were efficient, timely and a pleasure to work with. They have a large selection of countertop materials to choose from. Good people, good work. Highly recommended.

Update: I went with another company and got a quote after only a few weeks. This "very complicated" sink has been installed several months ago and is looking great and working great. I also paid a lot less than the rough cost given to me by Sullivan.
This place does not deserve any stars at all.
If you want to hire their services be prepared to go down on your knees and beg them to take your money..... and then beg them some more to get some kind of response.

At first glance, they had great customer service and we were totally prepared to go with them in terms of getting a countertop. Then the holidays came, no bid came in. The holidays were over, they said it would take another week since they had a glitch in their systems. Three weeks later they send a link to an inactive bid.
Meanwhile, we've already selected another sub who can do the job quick and easy. Wasted 5 weeks + on these guys. I've actually never written a poor review before but this one is deserving.

I was a General Engineering and Building Contractor for 20+ years before becoming a school teacher. I used Sullivan 2 or 3 times and was always pleased with their work so I hired them to do the work in my kitchen this year.
The workmanship, from layout to finish, was abominable. Having been a construction contractor, I don't expect anything near perfection but this was unbelievably bad.
I had to resection a base cabinet. The backsplash was like a wash-board until I pointed it out and now is dished. They, despite prior agreement, kept a large piece of excess material I was going to use

Totally incompetent staff. I had to follow up multiple times to get them to process my order, set up my template date, set up my install date, and after processing my credit card for a $2200 deposit, they "forgot" to order my countertop. They came back 2 and half weeks later telling me it was on backorder and it would be another month because they never ordered it in the first place. They refused to let me talk to the owner and refused to try and expedite the order. They refused to apologize or ever admit that they made a mistake or say they were sorry. Stay away!

This is so frustrating! We went to their store. Met with their "Countertop Stylist" filled out their form and told them that our property was in Monte Rio (next to Guerneville), which was about 1.5 hours away. They said they would have to ask their owner. They then told us yes and we proceeded to get several quotes of several configurations over the course of 45 days. Assuming that we just needed to pick which countertops.
Our contractor is ready to rip out the old countertops, he is scheduled to start work on the 10th. We finally tell Sullivan our decision and today I get an email back

Fantastic service, competitive price, perfect installation. I got quotes from several countertop businesses for Caesarstone counters and all were within the same range. My contractor wanted to work with Sullivan because he had good experiences with them in the past, so I placed the order with Sullivan. They allowed me to reschedule my appointment so many times I'm embarrassed, always with a can-do attitude. Finally we were ready for measurements. Sullivan got the template made and 10 days later, the counters were ready. The installation was really where they showed their skills. We put countertops
