We were planning a large addition and curb appeal overhaul, including upstairs addition, new roof, and room reconfigurations. We used the design package where we met with the Hestia rep and their "in house" architectural designer to develop a new floor plan and curb appeal changes. After a few virtual meetings and a walk of the house, we received some designs that we ultimately based our home remodel on. I usually don't write reviews but I thought this company deserved a review just for meeting with us. We're renovating our kitchen and made numerous appointments to get estimates. Hestia was the only company to actually come out to meet with us and provide us with an estimate. Thanks for being the only company to meet with us. You guys are very professional! Don’t waste your time. Based on the many positive reviews I set up a consultation for replacing my kitchen counters and repainting the downstairs of my home. I spent over an hour meeting with Brandon to discuss what I would like done and having him take measurements. I was told I would receive an estimate in approximately 10 days. After waiting 3 weeks I began emailing and calling to find out when an estimate would be ready. Finally a week later I am told that an estimate would be ready in a few days. Another week passes and I call back only to be told that the estimate is ready but I have to

Hestia was the renovation company I choose to remodel and update my kitchen and living areas. I found working with the renovation specialist, Michael, and the whole team of designers, project managers and support staff as a very positive experience. I have been working with Lacy Van Hoose of Hestia for over a year due to several issues that cropped up along the way. None of their doing. With Austin booming , permits have taken forever to get. But along the way Lacy has kept me up to date with everything and has been kind, professional and respectful.

I gave them 2 stars rather than 1 in hopes you will read this. Start date was repeatedly postponed a month with no notice of the postponement unless I called. When they finally started it took them 2 months to finish an 8' x 10' bathroom. It was a common occurrence for us to be told people were going to be working the next day, we'd pack everything up (we work from home and had a 10 month old at the time) and no one would show up. It was up to me to police the quality of their work, since the project manager was MIA most of the time. To date (6 months later) they have yet to finish all the punch

Design and installation went really well. Even though we were working during the beginning of COVID, items arrived timely and everything was completed on time. Six months later I had some issues with leaks, and Eli and Hestia were able to get repairs completed in a timely manner.

Desmond at Hestia was absolutely amazing to work with. He was very professional and responsive. He addressed questions and concerns quickly and was always polite and courteous. Desmond was a true problem solver, thinking through the best and most efficient was to resolve issues that came up. He helped our project move quickly and kept a handle on the extensive list of projects our renovation required. We have heard horror stories about renovations but working with Desmond has been nothing but a blessing. We will recommend anyone to Hestia going forward!

From the time that work commenced on our master bath remodel, the following issues were noted:
Hestia collected 50% of the total contract amount up front and after demolition there were weeks with almost no progress. They continued to ask for subsequent checks despite days/weeks without any work being done. They then refused to perform any more work without further payment. We accommodated their payment schedule as we were left with no other options at that point.
When we signed the contract, they guaranteed work to be completed by 6-8 weeks. We had to fire them after 12 weeks when work was still
