South Orinda Renovated in 2008 Built in 1946, this home had not been touched since it was built. The new owners wanted to increase the size and create a better flow of the single story rancher. With the design help of Jarvis Architects, the team at Singelstad Construction doubled the home's size with a second story master suite, and completely remodeled it to meet the needs of its owners.
Crocker Highlands Renovated in 2017 This home was not updated since its construction in the 1920's. We completely removed the interior, walls, and ceilings and in collaboration with Jarvis Architects, completely reconfigured the interior space. A 160ft addition with 25ft bifold doors open the family room to an expansive deck.
Piedmont Renovated in 2016 This home was built in the 1920s and had been remodeled several times over the years. We reconfigured the kitchen and laundry area as well as added a cedar pergola on the exterior. Features included a La Cantina' bi-fold window which allowed for a continuous countertop extending from the interior through to the exterior and Meile appliances throughout.

This four story, hillside home built in the 1930's was mostly destroyed in a fire. Working with the homeowners and Jarvis Architects, the home was completely rebuilt to its original style. We received a the Berkeley Architectural Historical Association Award (BAHA) for restoration and construction on this home.
We did a whole house remodel on this 1950s ranch-style country home that was poorly remodeled in early 90s. We redid the kitchen and added new custom railings as well as a library latter to reach high places. This was a collaboration between Singelstad Construction and Buchanan Opalach Architects (BOA).
