Plenty of people can cut glass. Bend it? That's a different story. We bend glass for lamp panels (sometimes called slag glass lamp panels), window sash, china cabinet doors, display cases, clock faces, picture frames and so on. You can trust Curran Glass Studio to create replacement pieces for your most precious glass lampshades.
Don't throw out that antique china cabinet just because the glass in the door is missing! We can bend simple (radius bends) and complex pieces (S-bends, J-bends) for cabinet doors, clock faces, picture frames, display cases and more. To do it, we need either a good piece to work from, an accurate template of the curve, or the frame/door the glass fits into.

I broke two of three decorative curved glass panels on one of our lamps. Looked everywhere for a person/service to replace the panels. I was quoted $600 - $700 to create replacements. Then I found Curran Glass. I can't believe John not only matched the shape perfectly but also matched the decorative color perfectly. We have our lamp back. A great craftsman.

I can’t say enough great things about the quality of John Curran’s work and customer service. I am grateful and beyond happy with my grandmother’s slag glass lamp that he repaired after all panels were shattered. I honestly cried happy tears when I unpacked it and it matches the original color perfectly...all from just pictures!!! Thank you so much John!!

We are thrilled with the job John Curran completed on our leaded glass inner front door. It was a tricky repair, since the panel was welded inside the door frame, but he spent the time needed to ensure the replacement colors were perfect and the solder was tight and clean. Excellent artistry! Highly recommend.

Wow! Amazing workmanship kind and professional. My slag glass lamp shade fell and broke. I was devistated. Three panels had to be replaced and I rushed to Benko Lamps, but Mr. Benko was ill, battling cancer and unable to work.. After a lot of research I found Curran Glass in Elmeood. What a find it was. My great aunts lamp was repaired to perfection and is absolutely positively beautiful. I would recommend Curran glass to Jesus Christ if he asked. That's how impressed and satisfied I am with the quality of their work.

We have an antique lamp with 6 panels of bent glass. Unfortunately, over the years, two of the panels broke, and were being held together with glue and clear packing tape. I could not get the glass made locally, but an internet search led me to Curran Glass. I sent John Curran one of the unbroken panels, and he made me two to match. The match is just about perfect. While the new glass surface is a bit smoother than the antique glass, the colors are perfect, and you can not tell which is which when the light is on. I could not be more pleased. Since Curran Glass is essentially a one-person shop
