Brent was a complete lifesaver! He was able to help me same day and was very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I know he probably squeezed us in at the end of the day and he never made us feel rushed when we asked him for help with other things. I really can't say enough about him... just a quality, honest guy that I've added to my speed dial. I wouldn't consider hiring any other professional.

We were selling our house in December and had the first open house scheduled a few days after Christmas. Unfortunately our microwave went out and we had to find one that fit and replace it fast. Then I had to find someone willing to work the Christmas holiday and be available quickly. I sent Brent a message on the afternoon of Christmas Day. He was all about helping us out and moved his schedule around so he could come over the next morning and install the microwave oven we had bought. Despite his poor reviews on Yelp, he refused to give references and wanted $65 an hour even though he is not even licensed.
Really people, if you have a major remodeling project, use people from the small towns west of Sacramento and maybe offer them lodging in your home while they do the work. The Folsom contractors are definitely price gouging and also maybe price fixing because everyone is quoting the same hourly rate.

I initially contacted The Go 2 Guy for a flooring repair service. I did receive a message back fairly fast and he did send me a name and number to call. The reason why I am rating at only a three is the content of the message. All it said was "Call my flooring guy John Johnson +1 (916) ***-****". I felt it was a bit cold for a message and should have included more information such as "This isn't a job that I would typically take on, however I do have a flooring guy I would recommend," or anything to that effect so it didn't seem so harsh.

I emailed Brent asking for a price quote to have some miscellaneous projects completed around my house. He emailed back to call him. My husband called, he didn't answer and so my husband left a message. I emailed him again...no response. My husband called again the next day and left a second voicemail message. Brent called back and said he would try and come by on Friday (a couple days later)...then changed it to Sunday. He said he would call at 10:00am on Sunday to confirm an actual time. He never called. My husband and I moved to Granite Bay 2 1/2 years ago and we need help to do all sorts of things around the house. Brent is our Go 2 Guy without a doubt. He is skilled and fast and smart and a gentleman to boot. We have asked him to do everything from breaking out overhead cabinets in the kitchen to helping us eliminate all entry areas for rodents. Asked him to come out and fix shower doors. He put the doors back up but one of them the too screw was still loose and looked like it was going to fall off again just like it did the first time (it fell on my foot and gave me a sprain the first time which is why I told him we really needed to make sure it was reinstalled correctly). And the other door was off track and wouldn't slide properly.
