Absolutely the BEST experience with Brad!! He went above and beyond to help us.....because we are technically challenged when it comes to these things!! Brad set up the programming for our new garage door clickers and we couldn't have been more pleased!! We will keep this company in our pocket for any future needs!! Thanks so much!!! Donna at Brad's Garage Door Repair was wonderful! She requested that I send her a few specific pictures of my inop garage door and she was able to diagnose the problem over the phone . They installed our new garage door 11/2020. Within a few weeks it would not close using the car remotes and need to hold the button down the whole time to close it from inside the garage. Meanwhile we had a lot going on in the past months including 2 family deaths and kept putting off calling them to come repair it. My husband has tried aligning it multiple times over the past months and it still would not work. So today I decided to call them expecting they would help fix it since it is new. Nope it is out of warranty. If they come out to fix it we need to pay for a service call. So they recommended

What a great local business. I decided to check out Brad's Overhead doors after hearing their commercial on KPRL. Brad took time at the end of his day to help me understand what options would be best for us. I was surprised by their low cost compared to the local big box stores. The door was installed in just a few days and looks great.

My wife and I have used Brad's Overhead Door for the last 25 years. During that time they have installed a new door opener, and performed minor/major services numerous times. Majors were new door springs and minors were error on my behalf. On one occasion Brad himself came out at 9pm at night to fix a problem prior to our vacation departure. ALL of our calls have been handled promptly, and his crew is professional and neat. Called over two weeks ago to get a quote on a new garage door. Was told Brad would call me when he had time and come give me a quote the following week. No call by Thursday of the following week, so I called back again and asked when I should expect a call and visit. Was told by a receptionist that she would remind him of the estimate visit and that he was on a big job and that's all she could do. These guys were great! My garage door kinked and the motor wasn't working. Brads has someone to my house in a day, and they followed up with further repair on Monday right away. They communicated well and were pretty much on time but called when delayed even a few minutes. Reasonable cost for repair and saved me having to get a new door. When I called Precision they couldn't get someone out for a week, And the same with Hamon.
These guys earned the work, priced it fair and took care of me quickly!!!!

I would highly recommend them. They are efficient, friendly, and get the job done correctly, for less money than other competing businesses in the area. They are able to come out quickly, as well.

Our business has used Brads overhead Doors for many years, they are reliable and reasonable. I don't think it is fair to give a business a poor review when they get swamped . Yes there are times through the years we had to wait, but they can only do the best they can, their staff can only spread themselves so thin but for the most part an Excellent company.

I would give them ZERO stars if i could.


These guys wasted my entire day waiting for them. I had called them and was surprised I got a hold of them. Guy said to wait a couple of minutes and he was sending another guy over. Couple of hours passed and still nothing. Entire day passed, not even a phone call that they wouldn't be able to come. Then we tried calling them again the next day, no one answered. I am surprised at the negative reviews then again everyone has a different experience. I am happy that I had a great experience with this company. I first learned of Brad when I was hired at the local fire department and saw the company sticker on all the apparatus doors turns out they have a service contract and always maintained the doors at the station. After buying a home out in Creston a year ago I knew I wanted to change the garage doors they were at least 19 years old and were bent, creaking, faded and the most basic of insulated. One Friday our garage door spring broke & I thought the opener also stripped out. Couldn't even manually open door. After calling another well advertised local business and never getting a return call, I left message with Brads & and they got back to me promptly. They were at our house Monday on time, replaced spring and were able to repair opener rather than replace it.

I have tried to contact Brad's Overhead doors 4 times, left messages, with no return call. I have called during regular business hours every time. Since it's this hard to get a hold of them to start with I'm sure it's really hard once the check is cashed. I guess I'll use my small internet platform to badmouth them. ‍

Call Brad's Overhead Doors, they will show up on time, do the work that is required, clean up after themselves and charge you a fair prices. I have tried several other door companies over the years in the Paso Robles area, but Brad's is the best value, in my opinion.

Hired these bottom feeders before I knew better. They ripped me off on new springs, then refused to ever provide a sales receipt. I asked in person, then by email, got nothing. So maybe they're not reporting income. Hey IRS, you listening?

Came home to my garage not opening more then 2 inches. Called Brad's and they knew exactly what the issue was from my explanation. It was a broken spring. They came out one hour later. Replaced the spring, serviced the garage and even fixed an issue that was there from previous owner. The door is working better then before and is even quieter. Highly recommend this company. Both office staff and tech were super friendly and helpful. The tech did the repair quickly but did a great job.

"Terrible service. They installed the garage door initially on the new vacation house a little over 2 years ago. Last weekend we tried to open the door and it popped and fell to the ground partially out of the tracks. While looking over the damage I noticed that the lag bolts they originally used to install the spring brace were barely through the drywall with only 1/2" to 3/4" penetration into the wood. Once again stellar service from Brad's Overhead Door's. I have experienced great service from Brad in the past when he came and quickly and efficiently fixed my garage door. Yesterday the spring broke at my parents house. He came personally at 7 o'clock at night and replaced the springs and tightened the bolts on my parents garage and he charged me less than the quoted price because he arrived late. Never had worse service! Would not use this company again. After adjustment on door,and $85 worked 4 days. Called back and given a time for return visit with specific time and did not show up on four different times. Fifth time came and adjusted door but was told I probably needed to purchase a new opener. It has worked for the last two weeks. Service very un-professional!

I was very impressed with Chris, he was able to fix an issue with my garage door that I have been dealing with for some time now.
