Carey's Appliance Service is Connecticut's Premier Appliance Repair Company focusing on Hartford and New Haven counties. We are highly sought after by appliance manufacturers to represent their brands as Factory-Authorized Servicers in the Central Connecticut area. Over the last 20 years, we have repaired tens of thousands of appliances for happy homeowners (and we wiped our feet at every door!)

Our techs are the best in the business and are FACTORY-TRAINED AND FACTORY-AUTHORIZED by most of the brands we service. We have the LARGEST INVENTORY of Viking parts in the United States with over 5,100 sku's and 8,500 sq. Richard has been with us for over 7 years. He covers Minnesota and Western Wisconsin.

He has 32 years of appliance service experience working in his homeland of New Zealand, Austrailia, and the USA. He has worked for Amana Factory Service, Maytag Factory Service, and Whirlpool Factory Service as well as independent servicers. Most recently he was chosen as the Trainer of other Servicers for Blomberg Appliances in which he travelled the country training Blomberg Authorized Servicers.

Terrible service, rude and not at all helpful. The woman who answers the phone doesn't care about helping anyone and the quality of this company is terrible. Stay away.

What a complete waste of money... Charged a couple hundred bucks for the guy to come five minutes and literally bang things with a screwdriver. Save the money. If it's a part you can order online - do it and youtube how to install. If not, this guy can't do anything and may do more damage.

Just wanted to jump on here and say we love Carey's! Always helpful, honest excellent work and the ones we turn to if ever we have a problem! Just made an appointment for our Viking oven that has decided to stop working. And I know they will come out, assess the problem and fix it for a very fair price and in a timely manner.

Worst service I have ever experienced. If the receptionist worked for me she wouldn't have a job. 5 hour window for service, long wait times on their phone lines and an obnoxious argumentative person on the other end. My advice would be to find another service.

I was disappointed with the level of expertise and professionalism they exhibited. I was anticipating a Viking authorized repair facility to be knowledgeable and thorough. They were not. I would suggest not using them.

An outstanding company that is entirely customer focused. Came quickly, was completely professional and solved the problem we had with our brand new Viking Double Oven. Dan Carey knows more about the Viking Product line than does Viking!

My elderly mother made service call when her stand alone freezer broke down. Service man came out and looked at age and model of freezer and explained it wasn't worth fixing and charged her $180 for service call. I understand when a service call is made there is a charge for time and cost to drive out to service call. My mom lives in the town next to Carey's. The drive couldn't be more than 10 to 15 minutes and she was charged $180. Way to take advantage of an elderly woman.

Good as far as I've experienced. Had warranty work for brand new BlueStar range. They were prompt in calling to schedule service (2 days from the call - not 2 weeks!), and though a part they needed to complete service wasn't received from the manufacturer, they came out anyway to help with a fix that would get me through until it arrived. Courteous, prompt on arrival, knowledgeable. You can't ask for more.
