Sunday night our water heater decided to stop working, on our house that is only 3 years old (including new utilities).
Being out of builder warranty, we had to call someone to come out and check it out. We called Advantage in the morning, lady on the phone was very friendly and helpful. They were able to get someone in the morning, despite an initial ETA of 2PM-4PM. Jay their tech was great, answered any questions, with a friendly attitude.
Jay even went and checked if the water heater was still under warranty, which it was. They went and picked up the part in Elgin (about 30-60min away, depending on traffic). Got charged the initial quote Jay gave me, before confirming to proceed with the repair, once the defective part was determined.

I called to ask for availability and they instantly booked an appointment for me for the next day. My husband and I were not going to be home. My mother was there and I explained there would be a language barrier and that was not a problem. Ben came over to take a look at everything and he was phenomenal. He called me when he arrived explained step by step of what he would be doing and called again once he left. Ben is beyond knowledgeable and has years of experience under his belt. Very pleasant to work with, professional and simply knows what he's doing. They gave us an estimate before the work

When our septic tank guy told us to call a plumber, I had no idea who to call or trust. After researching reviews, I chose Advantage because of all the positive feedback. Josh came out quickly, spotted the problem and had his crew back within a couple hours to hydro jet my main pipe. Those poor guys had a heck of a time finding it due to excessive tree roots in my tank. They stuck with it and got the pipe cleared. Awesome group of guys and Jennifer is great too! Not that any of us look forward to needing a plumber, but I will definitely call them again when needed.

Came out same day and insured the repair was done before the surcharge from the village for an afternoon re-keying of B-box. The plumber was experienced, knowledgeable and thoroughly explained every step of the intended work throughout the entire process. Ben did a great job. Also, military friendly which we very much appreciate. Saved his business card and will certainly call the next time we need assistance.

We walked into a basement soaking wet at 9pm. We called at they sent out Dylan quickly that night. He stopped the leak and was back with help the next day to replace our water heater. We called 2 places first and no one would come out that night because it was so late. Thank you for helping us out. You’ve got a customer for life!!!

My technician,Scott, was on time, very courtious, friendly, proficient, not pushy or demeaning, explained my options well and made me feel my decision was the correct one, not disruptive...so quiet in his work and neat. Would never have known he'd replaced my disposal except when I had to put my stuff back under the sink!

Great service and fast! We called several plumbing companies and most of them wanted us to wait hours or days for an emergency call, Advantage Plumbing had Eduard out fast and had the issue fixed quickly and was able to explain everything for us to understand. we had to have a part ordered but they had it before we expected and he came back and had it installed within minutes. Our outdoor faucet is working perfectly now and looks better than it did before.
