R.W. Harlow & Associates is a full-service construction, remodeling & repairs company, and is a Class A Licensed Contractor. The Company was founded in 1994 by Ronald Harlow, but Ron has been involved in the construction industry most of his life. Ron began his journey at the age of ten while working as a laborer with his grandfather, assisting with generalized clean up on his grandfather's work sites.
By the age of 15, he was working during the summers on multiple projects which included framing homes to mowing lawns. Over the years, he moved into commercial build outs for Domino's Pizza stores throughout the Country and then expanded the Company to construct small additions, decks, basement remodels, kitchen & bath remodels, landscaping and custom barns & garages.
Since 2013, he further expanded the Company to perform home inspections and became certified with InterNACHI. The Company holds a high standard of performing quality work, and fully stands behind their work.

We needed some power washing done to our home in Cape Charles, I left a message and my call was returned very quickly. He came out and gave us an estimate and the work was done by the end of the week. Always making sure we were satisfied with the result. We will definitely be using him for other jobs around the house.

My husband Josh and I are new to the Cape Charles area and came across Ron to help us make some updates to our home. Not only does Ron do great work but he’s a real pleasure to work with. We appreciate that Ron is always straight forward with us. If there’s a job that he thinks we can do on our own, he gives us guidance on how to do it. Ron is a Jack of all trades and does most things, however, we recently needed HVAC work done and called Ron just to make sure we were getting good advice from the technician. He’s that trustworthy!

Living across the country from where our house is deems difficulty finding a contractor that is fair, true to their word and do quality work without you being there to supervise. We found all that in R.W. Harlow & Associates. We met Ron several years ago and finally were able to get him to do some work on our house after having some disappointing work from other contractors. Ron has helped me out with 2 jobs so far... first one was installing a tankless water heater. It's the kind of job many contractors just don't want to bother with. But Ron shepherded that job and helped me out of a bind.
The second job was replacing all the tongue and groove decking that was on our front porch. The existing boards were dry rotting and generally looking terrible. Worse yet, whoever did the prior work gerry rigged it so badly that it was borderline unsafe. Ron, fixed the issues and replaced the entire porch with good pressure treated decking. It looks great. But Ron got job done
