Pat did an absolutely amazing job at restoring our furniture! We had several pieces that were damaged in a home fire with heavy smoke damage he restored them to better than new quality and look fantastic. From the quality of the repairs to the fabric upholstery he involved us with every step of the way. I had an old. worn out zero gravity reclining chair. On Home Advisor I located and contacted Bowens Furniture. Patrick arrived at my residence and picked it up. I now have a newly reupholstered chair that is equivalent to a brand new chair. Patrick was also very professional, friendly and sincere. This review is long overdue, given that I reached out to Bowen's Furniture back in April to reupholster some outdoor couch cushions and they quoted me for the job and turned it around all within two weeks. I am overwhelmed by how beautifully it all turned out! Patrick, the owner, looked at the cushions, gave me options for how to enhance them (as they were old, thin and very worn); he also advised me on the design when I made requests that, frankly, would have been a mistake. The final product was better than new and so well crafted. On top of it all, Patrick is such a delightful person to communicate

I have an amazing house in York Maine that was damaged last year due to a broken water pipe. Many rooms were damaged included the formal dining room where a precious 1902 table and a very large built in china cabinet, which is scheduled to be restored soon. Patrick and his crew are extremely talented and surpassed all expectations and hopes. I can'tr wait to see how the other piece comes out as it was damaged much more from the water. Thank you. Just received delivery on my 51-year-old Ethan Allen bedroom suite. Bowen's matched the original stain perfectly, and I could not be happier with the results! We were new to area and needed to have a few pieces of furniture reupholstered. Looked online and found Bowen’s. We called Patrick with our requests and he came right over to see what we had. He was so personable and gave us great advice and reasonable costs. One antique couch was delivered to our home and WOW we loved it. Beautiful workmanship. We added more furniture and all have impressed us. He even fixed an antique cane chair flawlessly - and three others tried with no success. I was somewhat skeptical contacting Bowen's Furniture Enhancement because there was such a negative review about the company. But needing a chair done, and wanting to support local, I figured I'd email him a photo and go from there as instructed from their website. Well, I received a quote the following morning ($125 to redo the chair not including fabric) and figured I'd go for it. I dropped the chair off on a Friday, and at that time I met Patrick, who owns the company.
