Trenching is usually required when you need to place pipes, conduits and or utilities underground. Trenching involves clearing dirt by digging (chain type trencher) downwards. It is a form of excavation. In trenching, the trench is deeper and usually narrow while the trench tends to be wider and or deeper with an excavation (involving excavators and backhoes).

Thank you Valley Trenching! I own a storage facility and needed to run electrical under the foundation from our main power to some of the units. Valley Trenching gave me the most reasonable bid, showed up when they said and completed the job in one day. They were very professional and really made me feel very comfortable with the whole process. I would definitely recommend these guys.

Beware of this company, especially the owner (Bill). Not a man of his word. Demanded full payment while work was in progress. Promised that work would be done correctly as instructed by customer, and if not would return to correct. They got the money but they did not honor their words. Work was NOT done correctly and they did NOT return to correct the error.

Unreliable company. My neighbor and I hired them to trench along the property line. They can't follow instruction to keep a certain feet away from the line. Screwed things up for us, and won't come to correct.
Yes, it is easy to deny and say you don't know the customers after you took the money and won't return. I remember you, Bill, and Jason working at our property and screwing things up for us and my neighbor. What a shame!

So thrilled with the job Valley Trenching did for us. We had seen work the did in our neighborhood a number of years ago when new sewers were going in. Very little disturbed, everything cleaned up. Looked good.
As we get ready to do an expansion on our home, we decided to contact Valley Trenching to see if we could relocate the septic or if we needed to go onto sewer.
Bill was extremely knowledgeable, explained what was required and gave us everything we needed to know to apply to the city. Unfortunately, the city did not allow us to relocate the septic tank, so we hired Valley Trenching to hook

Can't trust this company to get the job done right. Customer provided specific instruction of where to trench. Workers did not follow and screwed up the job. Won't return to fix.
