We've been using Shaw Services for 6 years now. Within the past year we've had to replace our furnace, AC and hot water heater as they all reached end of life, and couldn't have asked for a better company to work with. Shaw installed 2 new HVAC units when we put an addition on our house in 2014. They were very professional and a pleasure to work with. Ryan Russell has been our regular maintenance technician since then and is always responsive when one of our units has an issue. Our original condenser unit was on our patio and we had discussed moving it for a while due to the noise when it was running. Shaw sent a 3 man crew and finished the job quickly and professionally. I would recommend them to anyone needing upkeep or installation of any HVAC unit.

Shaw installed a complete furnace /AC system and relocated a second outside unit. During the install I was impressed with all details of their work. Justin and crew kept the area clean and were able to customize the install to meet our additional requests. I was comfortable with the crew in my home and they followed all COVID protocols. Final result was beyond our expectations.

If you're like me, then you search through every review and get every price quote from everywhere and everyone - but do yourself a favor and call Shaw first. I can't say enough good things about these guys! Fast, honest, BEST PRICES, and extremely helpful. Ryan and Aaron were very detail oriented and simply great to work with (seriously, these guys are awesome)! Wish I had called Shaw on my first AC I had installed before this last one. I got quotes from 8 other companies and no one even came close! I should also mention that Shaw's customer service was excellent from start to finish!

This is hands down one of the best customer service oriented company’s I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. We had a great experience all the way from the original estimate done by Don down to the install by Jaron and Justin. I recently had an A/C unit and coils fail, of course in the middle of the longest 90 degree or higher streak we have seen in the D.C. area. I had several companies come out and give me an estimate. Donald Shaw, the owner of the company, was by far the most thourough and professional of the bunch. He also inspected my heater and blower motor and informed me that they both looked good and I did not need to replace them. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Jim McCready has serviced our HVAC for years and once again, he provided outstanding customer service that went above and beyond a normal service call. We had turned our A/C off as the drain hose was clogged & leaking, and it was the hottest weekend of the season. Jim called to say he could stop at the end of his work day, but we weren't home. I gave him the code to access our house, he cleared the drain and called to ask if we had a shop vac so he could clean up the basement! Never been happier with service. I had a complete system put into my house a while back. The entire experience was great. I asked for an estimate and the actual cost was right on target. Additionally, I asked then to install an air purifier and that has been extremely helpful with pet odors in the house. I won't hesitate to call them in the future!

Shaw replaced my HVAC system in my condo several years ago, and we continue to use them for scheduled maintenance. For the HVAC replacement they were several thousand dollars lower than a larger company competitor. Jim is the technician that usually comes and checks our system. He is very polite thorough. I am very happy with Shaw Services. When I moved into my condo three years ago they replaced my water heater. Steve and Sonny were very professional and explained everything to me. About a year later I had them back to install a humidifier. The reason that I'm writing this is because I just recently sold my condo and the inspection required me to have my hvac system inspected. Shaw Services just replaced our 21 year old HVAC. They have been providing maintenance for many years for our HVAC system and the fact that our unit last 21 years is a testament to their knowledge and expertise in the HVAC field. I've used shaw since they started up. they used to be great. I don't know if they been bought out or what, but in the last 11 months there service has become terrible. they had to return a second time to repair a problem they caused in the fall. the person they now have answering the phone is absolutely terrible. where did this once very good company go? they also have become overly expensive.
