This garage door company was the closest place to our home, so I went there for advice/parts first. To my surprise, Bill Gutowski said that he could find replacement parts for my 1960’s era garage door opener.
A week and a couple emails later he had the replacement parts available.
I attempted to fix my own garage door opener myself, but Bill assured me that he would send out a service technician if I wasn’t able to do so.
Despite the small size of my order, I felt appreciated and given good, honest advice.
My experience here was excellent and I’ll recommend to others.

Talk about fast and efficient! I called towards the end of their day when dispatch wasn't sure if they would be able to make it a same day appt, They were to my home and completed within 40 mins (at most) the gentleman that came was very nice and knowledgeable. Very fairly priced too! They definitely deserve 5 stars!!

AODC Amsterdam Overhead Door Co. is a city treasure.
My garage door opener broke on a Saturday night so...I called and left a message on the answering machine for their Monday opening. I was called back before 8am that Monday, promised service within the hour and by 9am my door opener was back to normal as good as new. Who does that anymore? I'm lucky I get a call back from most tradesmen in this town. Thank you AODC for being so dependable, so accommodating and so professional. We have s great business here. Support them and you'll have quality product, sound advice and peace of mind. Not often
