Guy came out to evaluate for estimate. He was late, but not a big deal to me. He shook my hand, took my email, and said he would get back with me with an estimate. He has not gotten back with me and I am unable to contact them via phone. His website says they are honest (and he may be), but I haven’t found that to be the case. Does not seem to be trustworthy.

I’m very impressed with this company. My house needed exterior repairs, including a wood chimney that had been repeatedly damaged by woodpeckers. Also some areas of siding repair/replacement, windowsill trim wood rot, miscellaneous trim pieces and painting. After doing a lot of searching and getting 2 other estimates I found Blue Valley Exteriors and called the owner Dan, who returned my call promptly and came out for a free estimate. He knew what was needed and how to do it, and his detailed estimate was very reasonable so I decided to schedule the work. Repairs were started within 2 weeks.

We are repeat customers of Blue Valley Exteriors. We originally worked with Dan in August 2019, after purchasing a home that had significant wood rot and needed a full exterior paint job. We were so impressed with Dan's professionalism and work that we worked with him again last summer to build a new deck for us. Both experiences were top notch. Anytime that we need any sort of exterior work done on our home, Dan and Blue Valley Exteriors will be our first call.

I had some work needed on my deck. I had Dan with Blue Valley give a bid. This was the third bid We acquired and I was fed up with the first two contractors and was ready to put it off again. Then Dan came out. He was honest and up front about what it would take to make a major improvement. I had a budget that we were able to stay within and we decided on Blue Valley. They treated us like we were family and worked hard to finish the project in a timely manner. I was impressed by the finished product and would recommend them to all my friends and family. Rarely do I give five stars. Blue Valley Exteriors came out on a Saturday (on time) to discussed my concerns; which was rot in two areas in front of my house, and a concern that there was more I could not see. Dan, the owner, went around my house with me to confirm there were no other significant problem areas (a couple of small things that I asked about). First thing Monday morning, I received a detailed quote with prices and attached photos showing a list of work items and arrows indicating what specifically would be worked on. Our Townhouse had exterior wood rot around our garage door, windows on the side and up high in the back. We are due to be painted next year 2020! I wanted two estimates! Chris, the owners son, came out early Friday morning for my first. He took notes as we walked the exterior of our house. He said he would email me an estimate that day, which he did. He also called saying he would like to come out and go over the estimate. We were very happy working with Dan and Blue Valley Exteriors. Our project included James Hardie siding on the front, window tear out and replacement, siding and wood rot repairs, gutters, portico redesign and metal bay roof replacement. They were patient with our decision process, provided a competitive and comprehensive quote and worked with us to design custom elements.
