Lords Chimney provides commercial and residential chimney and fireplace repair and maintenance solutions for the entire greater Houston area, which is bounded by Conroe in the north, Galveston in the east, Wharton in the south, and Fulshire in the west. Whether you need your chimney or fireplace inspected, swept, repaired, relined, or rebuilt, Lords Chimney is equipped to meet your needs.
According to the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), your chimney should be inspected once a year and cleaned as needed (depending on the design of the chimney and depending on usage-including the amount of wood burned). Having your chimney regularly inspected helps to make sure that you're alerted to any potential problems before they become dangerous or costly.
A fire just isn't nearly as enjoyable if you have questions in the back of your mind about whether or not it poses a danger to you, your family, and your property. Cody finished his early job and called to see if the appointment could be move up an hour earlier. Cody and his helper arrived and listened to my thoughts and began surveying the job. They began work showed me pictures of the lint buildup in the dryer vent and showed me pictures once the work was completed. Pleased with the work, excellent communications and professional workers. Price was as originally quoted.

Was very pleased. Moved into a new home a couple of years ago and while the fireplace passed just fine during inspection, for some reason (call it instinct) I was a bit skeptical. Very glad I trusted my instincts. Cody performed a full inspection including the top of the chimney which had a partial brick that was crumbling. He explained to me how water was getting in at the very top. He explained all my options other than rebuilding the entire fireplace/chimney and came up with a plan. Ever so grateful for his expertise and was never baffled by any of my questions. He showed me photos of everything

What can I say? I paid them to clean my dryer vent last year and they didn't do it right, so I had them come check again (and paid again). They said it would need to be cleaned from the outside. Apparently the tech last year didn't do the job properly. 22 days later after numerous phone calls on my part (they never followed up) and 3 trips to the laundromat, I gave up and called another company who fixed it the next day. Frustrated that I paid so much money for no results.

Lord's Chimney was pretty professional and I feel like they really were able to point out most of the issues in my fireplace and the chimney stack. It was neat watching the camera go up and seeing everything inside the chimney, so that when they gave me a quote to fix everything, I felt like it was honest as far as the scope of work went. As far as the price, I'm not sure, as I haven't gotten comparable quotes yet. It wasn't outrageous though.

We had a major chimney problem after Ike. Two other contractors tried to repair but it still leaked. The second contractor recommended Lord's Chimney and they fixed it and it has not leaked since. Part of their solution was a cap, and it blew off during the storm a couple of weeks ago. Lord's folks came out and fixed it under warranty - no games, no problems - just great service. I highly recommend this company. [Even though the cap blew off, the chimney did not leak during the two storms since.]

Had them come out to quote on installing pilot light. Gladly paid the $200 service call. Technician thought it would be an additional $400 or $500 to replace. After investigating parts, etc. came back with a quote for almost $1000. We called a competitor that did it for $350. Big disconnect between the 2 quotes for the same repair. Very disappointing. Won't use them moving forward.

Paid $140 for an inspection (was originally calling to get a clean, but they recommended not cleaning due to all the repairs). They found $9300 worth of repairs! Yowzah! The guy was nice and did mention that a couple things I could probably find someone else to do them cheaper. For example, my flashing was messed up on the roof and he mentioned this would be $1200 to repair. I ended up needing an entire new roof and so the roofer fixed the

Fantastic service and honest help. I had them clean and inspect our home fireplace and chimney and was treated great.
The employee was informative, helpful and very polite.
Not only did he do a great job showing me the inside if our chimney condition with his portable camera he also advised me on how to reduce the smoky smell in the house while burning.

Dishonest owner, he tells you he will do a bid fee of $99 that will go towards services and then has his sweep tell you for $29 more he will do a full inspection, but they fail to tell you that waives the $99 towards services. When I pointed out I was not told about this, he was rude and I took my services somewhere else that ended up quoting me HALF of what he originally told me I "needed" . I would try another place before going to LC.

I called them out to inspect and clean my chimney. I have never in my life used an outside contractor for anything. I knew before they got there that they were going to point out all kinds of flaws and try and upsell me. To my surprise, they were completely honest, explained everything and made some recommendations.
They were courteous, professional, on time, clean, efficient and fairly priced. I was very impressed and based on my experience, would recommend them to anyone.
