I am a Western Washington architect providing design service for contemporary, traditional and transitional architecture for home, office and institutional clients. As a former carpenter and contractor, my strong construction experience will provide you with realistic building options for your design project.

I live in Poulsbo, and travel to your house or site to for meetings and site measurements of existing homes and buildings. Generally we will meet a few times during the design process. If meeting in person is not convenient, we can use a meeting app to get to know each other.

I have successfully submitted plan sets for permits to many of the cities and counties in Western Washington, including; King, Snohomish, Pierce, Thurston, Kitsap, Mason and Jefferson counties.Cities that have permitted my plan sets include; Seattle, Everett, Tacoma, Olympia, Bellevue, Renton, Burien, Redmond and many others.
Services
Your home, commercial building or institutional facility becomes as important to me as it is to you. My job includes listening carefully to help you achieve your goals. I often provide a permit set of drawings for an owner-builder; and a full set of design drawings and documentation for competitive bidding.
Nesltled against a hill on a large wooded lot, this homes has great views of the ravine and surrounding forest. This waterfront home has views to the west on a gently sloping lot. With influences from the classic Craftsman Style, fine woodwork inside and expressive trim on the outside will make it a unique and comforting home.
A comfortable two story home sits at the waters edge on Hood Canal. Waterside French doors up to the view, while street side windows look onto a front garden. This narrow lot was a challenge, but the house provides just the right amenities. Wood beams and trim have a soft golden glow. Balconies open the house to the sun.
Bartimaeus was blind but given sight by Jesus. The dedicated group of people that wished to create an intentional community in Bremerton WA chose this name to reflect their commitment to each other and to a new beginning, introducing the Cohousing way of life to Central Kitsap.
The remodel and 2nd floor addition on this small building on California Street in Kingston WA created a wonderful work environment for several small professional offices. Features included: an accented concrete foundation, post and beam entry roof, truss roofs spaning the full width and sun filled interor entries.

Paul has been designing homes for me for over 10 years.
His creative thinking has solved many design challenges and he is always able to produce a unique and attractive final design.
Paul also is very familiar with the current building codes and permitting process which adds to his ability to design a well thought out product that is buildable.
Because of the success I have had working with Paul, I have had him design my new personal residence and am pleased to say that he has done an outstanding job!
