Nu Era Air Conditioning

5/23/21: Nu Era AC Kapolei came through for us once again!! Our central AC went kaput last night; no cold air. Emailed them that night and they called us the first thing next morning. We asked if they can come as soon as possible due my wife being disabled; heat exacerbates her condition. They accommodated our request and Tech Richie came to the rescue. Our appointment was at 1130 am, but he called us and came earlier. He easily diagnosed the problem and made the repair in no time. He also did maintenance and changed our air filter. We requested a cleaning the first time we had services done, come to find out those services were never completed, and we were told they don’t do cleanings the second time they came out to fix the board which they said was good to go the first time around.... We were quoted 250 plus labor and were told that they are going to come back within 4 days... they never did come back nor did they reach out to us, so we called them for follow up.... first they were going to make us wait an additional week and my husband got upset and asked to speak to the manager. We never got to speak to the manager

Ridiculous. I call and speak with someone that can't speak very well English and was hard to explain everything, over and over, then to be transfered to someone else to explain it all over again... a tech came out the next day on time, charged me for an hour, didn't tell me he was completely turning off the unit permanently. Claimed they would call me about the status of my repair and to let me know whats next. Nothing. I've called for an update. Nothing.

Took a while to get a price quote. More than a year to be exact. Then we get a quote, make an appointment and take off from work. The day the work is supposed to be done we get a text saying they gave us the wrong quote, would not give us a new quote, and cancelled the job. Real professional.

Cannot thank Nu Era Air Conditioning enough! Had the blower in our central air handling unit go out last Thursday night. Contacted Nu Era Air conditioning the next day and they were able to get a repairman sent out Friday afternoon. Erick did a tremendous job!!! Very thorough and honest! He found a problem with the blower circuit board and was able to repair the circuit board and get the air handling unit running again.
