My experience with the Island Comfort sales person at Lowe's was great, he was engaging and very helpful.
The sales contract writer promised things that his installers would not do, such as location of AC in rooms, how the electrical was going to be run. I did not want conduit showing on the front of my house, the sales contract writer said that that wouldn't happen when the installers came. There needs to be better communication between what the sales contract writer promises and the installers. As the home owner I think that the conduit runs showing on the front of the home decreases curb appeal

Let me be honest in being clear we are NOT and will never be clients of Island Comfort. Simply because we don't like to be insulted and treated like idiots.
Rocky the estimator showed up with laminated sheets with pricing such as per hour labor charge - although that's supposedly included in the quote anyway, and warranty options. After 20 or so minutes at our house he presented us with a hand written "quote" which he wouldn't even let us keep. When I told him I'm honestly sticker shocked and asked to have it emailed properly with a breakdown so I can compare our options

The entire process was quick and easy from beginning to end. I am so glad that I finally got split AC's- I should've done it a long time ago. I've had window AC's and they cooled my house, but now I see that they didn't do as great a job as I thought...my house is so cold now!

I filled up a form at the local hardware store for an estimate on putting a split AC system and their salesman Zeke Salazar came to do a walk thru. He wrote me an estimate for Lennox on a piece of notebook.
I was intending to go ahead with his proposal but had a question about the price that he wrote so I called him but he was busy and said he would call me back. I waited for several days , no response.
I called him back a couple of times but he didn't pick up the phone and responded with a text message saying that he was busy to talk.
Until today he didn't bother to call me back. His unprofessional

Heard the commercial on 95.5 FM The Fish. Jessica was friendly over the phone. Zeke was professional & knowledgeable when he did his estimate. The contract was done quickly with no surprises at a good price. The technicians Lenny & Spencer were hard working & had positive attitudes installing our 3 split air units.They were grateful when we fed them beef stew, rice & brownies for lunch. I'm sure that when you purchase an air conditioner from Island Comfort, they'll be at your home immediately to install the system. However, getting maintenance for your units is the problem. We called on June 16th due to leaks from our AC unit and were told that the soonest a technician can come is June 26th. It's now June 27th and no phone calls or explanation as to why a technician did not make it to our residents.

It was a pleasure doing business with Island Comfort Air Conditioning from start to finish. I had first called to ask about repair services for my parents’ broken unit. We just can't recommend Island Comfort highly enough - if we could give 10 stars we would! As others have mentioned, we decided we didn't want to go through another summer without AC. Additionally I have mold allergies and wanted a system that also had air purifying and dehumidification capabilities. We were extremely frustrated with some of the first companies we called. It took them weeks to call us back and then weeks to get a bid only to find that they left out half the things we asked for. Then we were referred to Island Comfort and what a different experience! They called back promptly

To keep cool and comfortable during the summer, we can no longer depend on island trade winds wafting throughout the house, ceiling fans, or floor fans to keep our guests comfortable. The record high hot humid weather we have been having caused us to consider investing in outfitting our vacation rental home in Princeville with air conditioning. It was the best decision going with Island Comfort.

If there ever was a company deserving of five out of five stars, this company is it. From the first call, to the free estimate, to the phone calls to and from Jeff, to the installation of the split system whole house A/C unit, I was impressed by their knowledge, their capability and their care. The system was designed by the estimator (Rocky), and it works perfectly, which is such a respite from some of the hot, humid summer days that occur on Kauai. I was so impressed that I am having a unit like this put into a second house that we have. Great company.

Our master bedroom a/c unit (split system) died after about 11 years of use. We reached out to Island Comfort for a quote. They offered us a few different brands and explained the benefits of each. They also explained the different sizes available and what was appropriate for our room size. The installer was out in a matter of 2-3 days (thank God as it was during the hottest part of the summer). He showed up when he said he would, was courteous and finished the job the same day (a few hours). The workmanship was virtually flawless

Got a mailer from this company. The mailer AND their website state the island of Kauai. NO other locations. I simply emailed them at their website to request to be taking off their mailing list since I live on a different island, Oahu. I get a reply that was all in CAPS stating that they have offices on other islands and boasted that they own a home in Kaneohe. If that is the case then you should UPDATE your flyer and website to say so! Not just the island of Kauai. And I got a sarcastic email back when I stated whoa all in CAPS... better? If I could pick no stars it would be that. Good customer

Island Comfort installed AC in my condo in the most professional manner possible. They had to work around stringent requirements from our Board and were able to solve every challenge in a way that met all my needs. The team of four men work together in an efficient and effective manner, each with their own tasks, coordinating with and assisting each other during the process.
