Owner John Mulcahy has over 20 years of experience in all phases of remodeling and home improvement. Home restoration and remodeling is our passion and priority. We specialize in but are not limited to bathroom remodeling, tub, tile, & counter refinishing, chimney cleaning & repair, sheet rock, painting, kitchen remodeling and almost any home improvement project.

We're proud to provide bathtub refinishing and re-glazing solutions that can bring tubs back to life and make them look like new! This is a far more economical alternative to complete tub replacement! We also refinish counters and tile to give your kitchen or bath a fresh new stone finish look! We use MultiSpec paint that consists of individual flecks of different colors, subtly blended to achieve the natural appearance of granite or stone.

Now is the time to have your chimney inspected and cleaned. Affordable Home Improvement provides full service for chimney sweep, repair, and restoration. A liner in your chimney help keep a fire contained and is an effective drafting device. Liners are required by National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) code and we install only the best.

Thank you John for doing such a wonderful job tiling my master bath. It looks even better than I expected it would and your expertise in helping me to pick the right tiles was a real plus. In addition to the wonderful tile job, I'm glad I had to replace the outdated plumbing fixtures for the shower tub and shower. If you have time when I'm in Connecticut in late January I would like to talk to you about doing stonework around the master bedrooms fireplace façade.
