We used Heartwood to replace a door leading from the garage into the house. The project was started sooner than I expected, the guys came over and within a half day it was completed and looked great. When the door was unboxed at my house, there was a very small dent in the front panel. I was fine with it, but Lonny wasn't. He ordered a new door slab, and within days it was replaced. His carpenters were very kind and professional. They all do wonderful work. Heartwood has done a lot of work at our house over the years and we will continue to use them in the future. Heartwood remodeled the kitchen in our 1870's-built house in Duluth. The kitchen was part of a poorly-built addition that was crooked and needed a lot of structural work. Now it is not only a beautiful and functional kitchen, but also the most square and level room in our house. Lonny communicated well at every step of the process, presented us with options when things didn't go exactly as planned, and really listened to our needs and desired use of the space. Heartwood's communication, customer service, and craftsmanship are top notch, and I recommend them highly.

Lonny and the rest of the Heartwood crew were, and continue to be, fantastic. We used Heartwood for an upstairs remodel in the spring of 2020 to add spray foam insulation to the top floor our 80 year old house to address our chronic ice dam and water intrusion problems. The project had it's share of surprises and unexpected issues, but none were the fault of Heartwood. My wife and I had the opportunity to meet Lonny around late September and in October we signed our contract to have Heartwood Construction finish our basement and build a deck.
