Design/Build is a term frequently used in new construction and remodeling. Basically, it means you receive your design and construction services from the same company. In the past, people often hired a designer and a general contractor, a step that often added additional time and costs to a project.
There are a few things that you would need to get together before you can even begin meeting with a contractor to start building your home. First: you need to get in touch with your bank to see how much of a loan you can qualify for to build this new home. Second: you need to get in touch with your realtor to find and purchase the land you want to build your home on.

Called multiple times, left messages and emails, no response. When I did finally get ahold of someone she gave me some information but said someone would call me back the following week... That was 7 weeks ago and still no call back! I can't comment on there work but there customer service needs help.

Did end up meeting with Andrew from there... knowledgeable, honest, and answered all our questions. I still have not seen there work so I will not give more than 4 stars.... Talking to other builders and looking online, Knutson seem to be at the high end of building cost
