I'm not really sure why anyone would run a business this way. AC Sure Plan installed units at both of our buildings. After we needed those units serviced, they began to ghost us. This forced us to use another contractor.

Come to find out, not only were most of the units incorrectly installed, 2 of them do not even have filters. Those units are practically shot and in need of replacement after only 1 year of use. After spending over $70,000 with this company, you can bet we are looking to litigate.

I contacted these guys to schedule an appointment for an estimate to upgrade my HVAC system. They were supposed to come out Friday afternoon. I called the office that mooring to confirm the appointment, they did.

I took the time off to be there. As it was getting closer to the end of the window, I called the office to ensure someone was on the way. No one answered, I left a voicemail. No one ever showed up or called that day - which was super frustrating.

The following Monday I called again, but no answer. No one ever called me back to respond to my voicemail or apologize for missing the appointment

When we decided to install an air conditioner, we did general research on the Internet and then interviewed four companies. Our installation was a bit tricky partially because we were asking them to also replace our 30-year-old gas furnace with an electric heat pump. I called AC Sure Plan to come out and repair my air conditioning system. I paid a diagnostic fee. The technician did the diagnostic and gave a list of parts that need to be replaced. After replacing these parts, he tells me that I need a new compressor and that it will take 24 to 48 hours.

Air conditioner stop working, so I called and got a coupled of quotes for service repair. The first guy spent 30-45 minutes looking at the thermostat, condenser and the a/c unit. He said the unit was old and quoted us $10,000 to replace it. Tom L came out to look at the same unit, thermostat and condenser. He was very friendly, professional and acknowledgeable. Tom asked if we recently had electrical wiring done. Just so happens, our breaker box was upgraded to accommodate our new solar panels. I scheduled an appointment on 8/6/2015. They were due to be at me on 8/7/2015 to attend to my a/c unit. I confirmed their appointment time again in the morning to be between 12-2pm. At 2pm on Friday afternoon they called to say that they will not be coming out and that they would call back to reschedule for another time. No shame in leaving me stranded without an a/c for the whole weekend.

Here's our experience.

We've had problems with our ac for a while. We knew there must be a leak bc our freon kept showing up as low/empty. We've had to have it refilled a few times. We called AC Sure in August to have it checked once and for all. They used their gauge and assured us that no leak is detected. They didn't have any other of their equipment to diagnose further. They charged $280 to refill our freon and told us they would come back for free to follow up and ensure that it was ok. So for the follow up visit this past month, it was an hour past the scheduled appt

I AM A LONG TIME CUSTOMER.
I CALLED THEM FOR MY RENTAL UNIT, AT BEGINING OF SUMMER, THEY CAME RIGHT OUT, CHANGED A PART, GOT IT WORKING, AND WOULD NOT CHARGE ME, SAID I WAS A GOOD CUSTOMER.
ANOTHER RENTAL UNIT WENT BAD AND TENENT CALLED A BIG A/C COMPANY WITHOUT ME KNOWING. THEY SAID UNIT COULD NOT BE FIXED, AND $7K TO REPLACE. JULIAN SAID IT WAS OLD BUT COULD FIX IT, OR REPLACE IT. I HAD HIM REPLACE IT FOR $4,500. BIG SAVINGS.

If you are looking for professional AC installation, and the commitment to back up their installation, then this is the company for you!

Part I: The bid, the negotiation and the install. The bid was competitive and fully disclosed their scope of work. The owner showed up five minutes early to our appointment which immediately gave us a good impression (the other companies showed up right on time or late). The bids were all around the same range, and even though he didn't have to (we were already going to work with him) he found a way to lower his bid a few hundred dollars to help save

I received a call last week requesting that I post my review for AC Sure Plan on Yelp. I told the person that they really don't want my review on Yelp. I did not have a good experience. She understood and mentioned that she would pass on the information to the owner. Haven't heard back from him as of yet.

So here goes... Air conditioner wasn't working so they sent a tech out to trouble shoot. After about 30 minutes he came to the conclusion that the Freon had leaked out and that he would need to come back with the Freon later that day to run tests for any leaks and add Freon

This business must be avoided at all costs. Not only is the owner a fraud but the entire company is built around the idea that the more money the make off of you, the better. There is no bargain here, despite their advertising that professes otherwise. I was quoted at least 20% more than the nearest competitor - okay, I can live with that. They were friendly enough in the beginning, but I should have trusted my instincts. Here's where it gets interesting: the price nearly DOUBLED after my service was in mid-stream! One of the other reviewers (tali b.) made it sound like they do not charge to come out and provide an estimate of the work. This is incorrect: I called them and they want $75 to come out and provide a repair estimate.

After I posted this review the owner called me up and was angry that I reported the truth. He threatened me as follows: "if you do not take the review out I'm telling you that I'm going to sue you".

Last week our house was being painted.. right in the middle of the heat wave. No issues.. We'll just run our AC.. Until it stopped working.. with all of our windows covered with plastic. Talk about zero airflow. I called the companies we usually use. It would be a week, two weeks or more before they could come out to take a look.
