Our bid process takes 2 trips and about a weeks time. The first visit one of our consultants will come out, measure your yard, and get a feel for what you are looking for. Our consultant will then take all the information he has gathered and put together a complete scale pool design using our 3 dimensional landscape and pool design software.

They did a nice 3D rendering and the salesman seemed easy to work with, so a star for him.
But if you're wondering why there are no recent ratings on this company, check their contract. It contains a "non-disclosure agreement" paragraph in which you will agree to pay $300 per day for reviewing the company here or anywhere else. (See below.)
It raises the obvious question, why don't they want to be reviewed?

I have held off doing a review of this builder for a LONG time.
We had issues with the deck almost immediately, which in fairness they compensated me for, however the deck still is an issue after doing an overlay.
Now we have rebar coming through!
Stacked stone is loose and coming off in many areas.
Pool is only 5 years old.
With the results that I got I would have been better off doing owner builder and just hiring the subs myself.
The owner was never there!
Pool was actually built in the wrong spot, then he wanted to charge me more for the extra concrete needed !

Justin, what can I say you've been amazing. I used to do my own pool service and decided I wanted to have accompany start servicing my pool for me. I hired a company and they were thy absolute worst they were ruining my pool! I met you and you were so friendly and willing to help. Hiring you had been the best decision ever, you are on time, professional and you really know your stuff. In all honesty my pool has never looked better. If you are looking for a pool service don't pass this company by you won't be disappointed! They're great!

Kevin and Tracy are the best. Between Kevin's many years of Construction experience and Tracy's great communication skills, they make an awesome team.
Our pool/spa is our second biggest purchase after our home. So you tend to be a little nervous. But early into the project, I realized we made the right decision with going with Sapphire Pool and Spa.

Service is just not good. They are quick to call for payment but not willing to help after they are done. It's only been like 2 1/2 months since my pool had been finished but they didn't come do a walk through never a call. We've been calling for over 2 weeks they forgot to put our pump that keeps our pool flowing with water. And they just don't care don't come out always doing some thing more important then the customers. Just bad service. Kevin and Tracy are just horrible service. I wouldn't recommend anybody to deal with them.

Sapphire built our custom lap pool and what a difference it has made to our backyard! We were referred to them because they also built other pools in our neighborhood. There will always be issues that arise in a major construction, but Kevin and Luis made sure to address our concerns. We found that it helped to be as informed in the specifics of our project as possible, and patient. Our project was a lap pool with spa and waterfall, hardscape (with electrical), a BBQ island with pergola, and firepit. It came together beautifully.

We reviewed lot of pool contractors and went with Sapphire Pool and Spa team as they were most transparent and knowledgeable of all. I had done my homework in terms of what would be my overall cost of doing a pool on my own (using multiple contractors) and they worked to be the closest without compromising on the standards of piping, pebble finish, deck finish, automation and water filter systems etc. The whole work was done as planned and with rigor of a professional pool construction company. They gave us the flexibility of choosing the kind of stone finish we want and made the pool functional

We called Sapphire Pools after a friend referred us. They just had their pool put in and had a great experience with Sapphire, so we gave them a shot. After calling around to other pool companies for quotes, and feeling like I was a burden rather than a customer, Kevin from Sapphire made it his priority to make us feel like family. In fact, all of his real family were part of many steps in getting the pool completed, from pulling permits to plotting the gas lines with his mom, to pool maintenance with his brother. We sat with Kevin on a Saturday planning the pool, and signing the next weekend.

From start to finish the job was a complete nightmare. A week after the start date someone showed up stating "he was there to bid the demo of the project". Kevin was only on the job site five times, three of the times was to pick up the check. Some of the contracted companies were showing up at our door asking for payment because Kevin wasn't paying them. We had at least seven major issues with the contractors work, when it was brought to Kevin's attention he became argumentative. It was a good start when the consultant was designing the pool. He worked with us incorporating the design. We have in mind and pen it down. Hell broke loose when the actual construction started. If I wasn't checking daily, there will be tons of mistakes. The workers are not looking at the plan but they go by what they were told by their boss. I was expecting d owner to supervise the work but Kevin only showed up when we call him because of certain problems or when he's getting the payment. We were not satisfied. We have to haggle for things to be done accordingly.

I will tell you to stay clear of using this company especially dealing with Morel. I spent a great deal of money and my job still didn't get finished! I had to hire a different contractor and it cost me a lot of money to fix the issues I had. They still owe me money which morel said it was in the mail. It never showed up as he finally stop answering my calls. He hasn't responded to me in over 2 months. Do your research and make sure you are going with a company that stands by their word. Their employee Morel is a guy who says they will complete the job and leave you hanging!!!

Steer clear of this business! We had the same experience as another reviewer. The consultant, Morel R., gave us an estimate after we agreed on the type of materials and needed repairs for our pool. After signing the contract, they started the job but then disappeared half way through, always coming up with excuses ("Our guys had a flat tire", etc.), day after day, even though they knew we were making daily arrangements to take our dogs to the kennel so they wouldn't disturb them. A pile of trash was left in our yard the whole time, even though they had promised to take it away

Just finished in July 2014. Despite the normal stress and concerns over building a pool (not our first), the project overall finished better than expected. When we had a concern, the owner himself picked up his cell phone and things got handled. The finishing of steps, coping, stone work, tile, etc. was our biggest concern, and it all turned out BETTER THAN EXPECTED...and we were picky lol. PERFECT coping. Request Peter for design, and the other Peter for concrete work. Beautiful pool and spa, would definitely recommend and use again. Thanks, Kevin!

It would have given them more stars because the pool seems fine so far apart from the plaster is very patchy looking and a crack in the coping that Kevin says is normal and not really fixable! I'm just hoping the pool holds up better than their after sales service. The job took a couple of months with a 2 week period in the middle where nothing much was going on but it was finished pretty much on time. I called Kevin numerous times asking him to 1. grade the rock hard lumpy earth left beside the pool by the Bobcat, he never did and 2.give me a demo of how to maintain the pool and equipment
