They colonize rafters as easily as doorposts. Drywood termites need no contact with soil and survive on the very small amount of residual moisture in structural wood.
In addition to the work performed by the fumigator that we assign to your account, it is your responsibility to help prepare your home for the fumigation. Taking the following steps prior to fumigation helps ensure its success, resulting in the elimination of drywood termites from your home. Your assigned fumigator may supply additional home preparation instructions AND documents for your signature.
Along with drywood termites, subterranean termites are the main insect responsible for damage to structures. If left undetected, subterranean termites can tunnel up from the soil along the foundation and damage the wood structure of your home. Thrasher Termite & Pest Control is expert in subterranean termite identification, treatment, and damage repairs.
As their name suggests dampwood termites only infest extremely damp or wet timber. Plumbing leaks, faulty gutters, broken drains, or other excessive moisture conditions will allow these termites to exist. These termites are 1 in length and are much larger than drywood termites and subterranean termites.

Alex went above and beyond in performing exclusion services for us. He was meticulous in installing the metal mesh around our custom decking and coordinated with the roofing contractor so that details we’re not missed between teams! We'd like to give a shoutout to the wonderful inspector, Mike. He updated us on his progress with each section of the house, didn't make us move anything unnecessarily, did a thorough job inspecting our property, provided useful feedback and was a joy to work with. The office staff, Vanessa, Erika and Abby were also all super helpful when we had a question and provided us with the paperwork promptly.
The whole fumigation process was seamless...

I called Thrasher Termite & Pest Control when I suspected I had roof rats.
Miguel came out to do the estimate. He performed a thorough inspection both inside and outside the house. He was on-time, friendly, professional and very informative.
Alex performed the trapping and exclusion services. He was on-time, friendly, and professional. The traps needed to be placed in the attic and sub-floor area. He was so helpful in moving heavy items from my closets to allow access to the attic and the sub area. The rodents were getting pretty noisy. I felt much better after Alex had set the traps! He also

The inspection was very thorough. Wallace was very prompt and worked in 100 degree heat and did a very thorough job and report for me to review.
Had a few mis-communications with the office initially, but with Covid and all the work they have to do, be thankful the work they do is extremely high quality and they show up (even a little early) when they say they are coming. Hey, sometimes it takes me a couple of days for me to check my emails.
The treatment was executed without a hitch. David and Pedro were on-time (Actually early and waiting outside patiently) and got right to work. They used

Almost all the other places provide a no cost inspection report. While I am ok with the $200 we paid for the report, the quality of the report was far below the competition. The inspector did not explain any of the damages to us. But we received an expensive quote for dry rot repairs with no pictures of the damage. Some of the estimates were incomplete i.e it said bid for it. The other companies who did similar inspection sent annotated pictures of the damage for "free". I requested the company for pictures but all they seemed to care was the $200 I paid and pretty much no response after that.

I called Thrasher Termite a few days before the holidays and they responded promptly and were able to schedule a termite treatment for the following week.
Mike was the Thrasher Pro that came out and he was great. He took the time to answer my questions that I had about what he was doing and why he was doing it. His professionalism to the job was astounding and I highly recommend him and Thrasher to anyone that needs pest control.
My whole experience with this company was great, even the invoicing and being able to pay via a phone call was seamless.
