Standard Move: 2 moving professionals will arrive at you pickup location. We will be clean and presentable and have a respectful manner. The movers will go over the work order with you and begin the moving process. All items applicable will be loaded in to the truck, secured and transported to the drop off location.

We had a messy, last minute move, and the movers we had previously hired to unload the truck into a U-Haul storage unit were awful; Showed up four hours late, damaged our furniture, crushed boxes, and were just generally unprofessional.
When it came time to move in to our new home, we did our research - and Avid Movers were a GREATchoice! They were able to schedule on short notice, arrived a few minutes early, had all the equipment we needed, loaded quickly but carefully, they are great with kids and pets, did everything we asked and then some, and were just generally nice humans. Highly recommend

My friend hired this company to help her move items I was storing for her. They showed up on time, very friendly and courteous. They got right to work and communicated very well with each other and with me. They had a plan of attack for how to load the truck and had appropriate padding and dollies and other moving supplies. I definitely recommend Avid Movers for your moving job.

Kevin and Danny were amazing! They were professional and careful and efficient! I have never seen movers as dedicated to their job - these guys are the REAL two men and a truck. They take pride in their work - perhaps because they are *the* Avid movers themselves! They probably undercharge for as hard as they work - so take advantage of them before they explode and charge like their competition. They are worth every penny!

I had a great experience with Avid Movers this week and highly recommend contacting Kevin if you need moving services! Kevin responded quickly to my quote request and follow-up questions and he and Danny arrived right on time for our scheduled move. Our move-in day was hot, like really hot, and Kevin and Danny were absolute troopers hauling everything up a flight of stairs and still taking care with where items were placed. These guys are top-notch! We couldn't have done it without them!

I worked with Kevin through Yelp messaging and every time he was extremely prompt with a response. The price was very reasonable for moving a single couch from a single story house to a second story house.
They arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and moved the couch.

Would HIGHLY recommend Avid Movers for any move. I hired them to move my 2 bedroom apartment and of course it had to be the back building on the 2nd floor, but they wasted no time getting in and getting all of my stuff moved out. My couches are little big and we thought we may need to make 2 trips but they were able to get everything moved in one trip and in 3 hours with no time wasted.
Will for sure be using them again for all our moving needs.

FORGET THE REST, YOU'VE FOUND THE BEST!! Kevin and the "CREW" (Danny and"James"?) did a Fantastic job moving all of our furniture and "Stuff" from one 2br/2ba Apt to another one. They showed up on time, worked hard, and did a great job for a very fair price with no "Hidden-Fees" like several other movers tried to pull on me before i talked to Kevin. I hired Kevin to move my parents from a large two story home to a smaller single story. Having been in that home for over 20 years you can imagine the amount of stuff they have accumulated, not to mention that they have many valuable antique items that they have acquired over the years as they traveled the world. Some items included an upright piano, a ridiculously beat up storage unit that my mother would not part with, a HUGE Japanese pot (ones you only see in museums), a Grandfather clock, and an extra large China cabinet. I hired this company to move the big stuff a very short distance move.
I was very happy with their service, their attitudes, and the quality that I received for their well priced services.
They took all the big stuff from one house and put it exactly where I wanted it in the new space.
If I had any criticisms at all, it would be that when they dismantle beds they should put everything together and in baggies so that everything is ready to go together without hiccups.
I would totally use them again and would recommend them to everyone I know.
The staff was friendly, clean, and accommodating

We hired Proficient Movers for our move from a rental to our newly purchased home. Josh was great to coordinate with, he checked in the night before to confirm, and the guys arrived on time....And just kicked butt all day long. It was a full 8 hour day and the guys just did not stop. They moved a TON...From the typical furniture and boxes, to the jukebox, gas pumps, pinball machine, and a bunch of heavy duty garage equipment. And they did it all with a great attitude. Could not have asked for more...And a great price too. Two of my girlfriends that were helping out are both moving soon...
