Hired U-move a few days ago and David and Alex did a amazing job. Took there time and wrapped all the furniture. After loading up they drove 8 hours and unloaded the same day. Asked them to unload without me being present and they did a great job(closed the doors and even turned the lights off). Highly recommend!!!!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! This was absolutely the worst professional experience of my life. The workers showed up almost 2 hours late to the pick up location. Once they arrived at the drop off they were asked to wear masks which they did not have. They were provided with them and immediately took them off within 10 minutes. They were asked to place everything into the garage as we were not ready to completely move in yet. They literally TOSSED our items into the garage like they were throwing it into a dumpster. I’ve used U-Move for my small moves and just recently purchased a home so I decided to rehire them for my 3 bedroom move from Roseville to EDH. The movers were super careful and really spent their time prepping the house before even moving furniture which I really admired.
Regardless of the crumby weather not once did they complain and not a single piece of furniture was damaged. Great job as always guys!

As of 12-22-21, I just had an OUTSTANDING long-distance moving experience with U-Move of Citrus Heights. They cut no corners and provided me with a reasonable quote & billing that matched. Three men...one worked, all showed up late, moved less than half the household before getting fired for loafing and spending time in the truck smoking. I was quoted $1800 but charged $2300 for what little they did. Managers (late) response was go ahead and file bank fraud complaint. I have attached a few of the pictures of incomplete work. I was willing to pay for the half day of actual work but not $500 more than estimated for the complete job!

Never ever use this company, I hired U Move LLC 2 weeks ago to move my old home to my new home that is about 150 miles away, after paying $3,000 they only moved half my home and refused to move the other half, after breaking some very valuable items. I've used many moving companies before, but this U Move company is a horrible company to deal with Especially their owner Andrey.

I, fortunately have not moved with professional movers often. This move, I chose to have my whole household moved professionally. I itemized the unusual pieces of furniture and the rest of my belongings to the company. I have a silversmith studio in the home making for much extra furniture which I told them about. I also noted to them that there would be a washer/dryer, refrigerator, and dining table and chairs. It ended up that I was leaving the appliances and dining set, so they didn't need to take those.

PLEASE do yourself a favor and stay away. If only one person follows that advice this review would be well worth it. We initially saw all the negative reviews and were weary but they offered the best price and unfortunately for us U-Move was our last option for an out of state (SoCal to OR) 4 bedroom move.
PLEASE pay more for a professional moving company that quotes based on weight. When compared to U-move, you wont regret it.

Found more broken items! U MOVE should be called U will Get RIPPED OFF. Boys moving team. Smoking pot, yes, while moving your stuff. Over charge and hi-jacks your furniture til they get wired funds. Our furniture got flipped upside down, scratched and damaged. Did not cover or wrap like we told them to. Priceless items that can not be replaced. BE PRE-WARNED NOT TO HIRE U-MOVE! I really don't like to write negative reviews but the lack of care that the owner and the moving crew has for my belongings is very disappointing. I hired this company after receiving calls from the owner who was so nice and quick to respond to my request on Yelp. The price was incredibly reasonable and I hired him on the spot. I was moving from three hours away... Fast forward to moving day.

I really hate giving companies bad reviews, but this moving company was 9 hours late arriving to my home. I received a text message from U-Move stating that they would be at my place at 7am. Soon after 7am passed I texted them the gate code and apartment number. I received a text back saying they would arrive between 1-2pm. This screwed up my moving plans for the day plus I had to be out of my apartment by 4:30pm. The movers finally showed up at 5pm. The actual movers, Paul and one other gentleman were great though. The movers took 4 hours to move my things into my storage unit which was fine.

I was moved from San Francisco to Sacramento the workers that came by were very respectful. They came on the agreed time and finished very quickly. Once they dropped all my stuff up they put all the boxes and furniture exactly where it was supposed to be. That saved me time and energy. It's very affordable to someone on a budget. Alex and his partner Kaden did a phenomenal Job packing and moving me and my son from Camino to Yreka. I’ve worked with previous movers in the past and the guys at U-Move rocked my world! - the movers were unprofessional (one even brought a sixteen-yr-old kid to help) and unprepared (had no tools to disassemble, no packing tape)

- my stuff was not safe: boxes were crushed, opened, the mattress was not in a bag so it got ruined

I'll begin by saying I am grateful for the movers, and they seemed nice. During the move, one of the movers (Max) showed me a picture of what he said was a chipped portion of a single drawer filing cabinet. I did not recall it being chipped, and did not make a big deal of it. However, the next day, I noticed the filing drawer was taped shut, and I figured it was to keep the drawer from opening. Again, no big deal. Once I removed the first piece of tape, I heard a noise like something was inside, and I knew I emptied it. As I removed the tape, the pieces of the filing drawer fell apart. Had a decent price for a San Jose to San Diego move, but with concerning issues:
- Pick up was planned for 30th of May, but was contacted 2 days before to reschedule for 29th. We decided it was OK, but then was contacted again that pick up was only possible on the 27th. Movers ended up coming at 9pm. Pick up ended at 1:30am. We had to get two nights at a hotel that we didn't plan for which cost us extra $200+.
- Drop off was late as well but had heavy traffic so understandable, at least it was on the day that was planned to be delivered.
- We are missing two chairs and a shopping cart which

I would not recommend using this company for your move. Although their rates were reasonable, their completeness as well as time management was terrible. I have moved on multiple occasions and used various users movers in the past and have never dealt with the anyone as rude as the owner Andre'. He came out to do an estimate of my items and said I needed a larger truck at $1,000 additional cost. Because I was just days away, I agreed and was guaranteed all my items would fit. I had originally scheduled this move for a weekend that I unfortunately ended up being hospitalized during right before. Andre was understanding and flexible. That was very much appreciated. Andre was out of town when I wanted to reschedule, and I wish he would have told me the first Wednesday I wanted was a tight deadline, but did tell him the next would be fine and I wanted my stuff moved out and in same day. I was informed the night before at 9:37PM that the movers would be 2 hours late from the originally scheduled time. I found out the evening of the move that they would not be delivering

U-Move is aptly named. Hire this company if you enjoy participating in the moving. Would recommend paying up for a more complete moving experience or just renting the equipment and hiring help yourself.
