I chose to work in this industry because I have been in the Handyman business since I could pick up a hammer.
My father was a professional carpenter, and as his son I was free labor. I worked in all areas of home construction projects with him, and then on my own as I got older. I have been involved in construction on my own for over 20 years taking on small to large projects within homes. I am a veteran of the US Army, and I take the training and discipline I have received over the years and give it back to my customers.

Sam is a Journeyman electrician with 20 years experience. He not only provides superior electrical services but also great customer service. Sam started his electrical career in 1999 in Virginia and continued until 2014 when he moved to San Antonio and received his journeyman license for Texas. He is not only knowledgeable in the electrical field but also has general handyman skills.
We hired A&D Home Repair and Remodeling for multiple projects in our home after a recommendation from a neighbor. You name it, we have had it done or it is on the list. Drywall, re-configuring walls and doorways, flooring, creating new closet space, staircase re-design, fireplace re-design, replacing exterior doors and windows, paint and crown molding.
In February of 2017 San Antonio, Tx suffered a tornado with strong winds and much damage. We wanted to help. We went to the Alamo Heights area, where there was the most damage, and spent the day helping homeowners remove debris from their roofs and yards. Thank you San Antonio for being so good to us, giving us your business, we are happy to give it back!

Our front door stopped closing unless you absolutely slammed it shut with heavy force. He did an incredible job. Fixed our front door with ease. Very professional and we were thrilled at how quickly it was repaired. Would highly recommend.

A&D Home Repair did a great job on my home repair/remodel needs (including but not limited to demolition, framing, drywall, tile work, and complete bathroom and kitchen install)! A&D Home Repair is THE BEST!! I have recently had a major remodel to my home. Floors, both upstairs and down, a half wall removed and replaced with columns. a new bedroom closet added and a kitchen overhaul. All the guys are very professional, on time, clean up after themselves and are extremely trustworthy. THEY KNOW THEIR CRAFT and are willing to work with you to share ideas and come up with solutions. This is the third major project that I have had done with A&D in the last three years. The other two were two bathroom remodels and exterior home repair.

This is a family-owned business specializing in home repair and modeling (general contracting). I used their services starting Jan 2019 for a number of home projects on the recommendation of a friend, I have only one regret -- I wish I had known of them earlier. The jobs were all done professionally and charges were competitive. As I was closing, I needed to do some urgent repair work, which they were able to do on the weekend. We have had A&D Home Repair do work for us a couple of times and each time they have been great and exceeded our expectations. Dan has always been polite and enthusiastic about the different projects we discussed and Todd has been great at making our ideas reality. Todd built our master closet organization system, laundry cabinets, and the amazing bookcase with a secret door into our movie room (see pics). Each thing was designed for our needs and A&D talked/worked with us to make things functional and awesome! The bookcase was a bit of a project, Todd and Sam were really great about communicating

We just had A&D home repair and remodel convert our tub/shower to a beautiful walk-in shower with seat. I’m currently fighting cancer and they have been great working with us, adding a seat to make things easier for me. The employees are so nice, professional and caring. Their work is amazing. I highly recommend them and will use them again!

My home thermostats went out suddenly and we couldn't toggle the temp from heating to cooling. I bought replacements at Lowes and got this awesome reference on A&D. One phone call and they sent a guy out the same afternoon. He was competent, knowledgeable and thorough, and the price was right. We were very pleased.

Daniel and his team were amazing and their work matched their customer service. The prices were fair. And I am absolutely pleased with the cabinet work they completed. I called Daniel on a Friday mid-day and Friday afternoon he was at my house ready to begin the job. I will definitely be calling A & D for future projects.
