When we embarked on our journey to remodel our 1980s Kitchen we shopped around at a lot of cabinet vendors. Most vendors came short on their ability to customise the cabinets to what I wanted or they didn't seem to have great problem solving solutions for us.

From the start of the project Julie was very professional, took time to understand our preferences, kitchen remodel project. I am very disappointed and surprised by your unprofessionalism. It has been weeks since we took time off of work and drove 40 minutes to meet with you. You had promised to get back to us with a proposal, you did not. After a full week, we reached out to you and again you promised to contact us. Despite offering to send the proposal the following day, we have not heard from you. As you might guess, we will not be using you for our design nor will we suggest anyone use your services in the future.

The great: Julie is an amazing designer and helped through the process like a pro. Gave tons of tips and useful recommendation that we would not think of. The kitchen came out amazing. The quality of the cabinets is top notch, and the result perfectly matches my vision for this kitchen.
Not so great: I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of what happened after we placed an order. We had a very tight timeline, and a contractor lined up immediately after cabinet delivery. Artistic Kitchen charges $1750 for cabinet shipping and delivery, so the amount is significant. For that kind of money

My friend had Julie deign their kitchen and referred her to me. It was a great referral as I enjoyed working with her. On top of her experience and expertise, Julie was always warm and caring. We started our remodel in 2/2020, just before the pandemic hit- needless to say, things quickly became complicated. We recently did an Eichler remodel and used Artistic Kitchen to design us a very modern European style kitchen with a clean simplistic look. They did an outstanding job in designing and delivered on all promises. We worked with Karmela and Jacquelyn who are wonderful to work with and came up with great suggestions and details thruought the process. They are truly experts! Amazing customer service. My parents and I worked with Julie and we felt very well supported from design to installation. Artisic Kitchen carries high quality products and professionals who know their products and can make design recommendations. Unfortunately, the factory made a number of errors in my cabinets, but they made sure everything was re-made until it was right. I didn't use their construction team, due to a lack of availability at the time, and that definitely created some issues. I feel like it would have been more seamless if there they had been used as a contractor as well.

We had AKD do a major kitchen & first floor renovation project for our new house. They removed two load-bearing walls, replaced a window, removed 4 rooms worth of mismatched tile and replaced it with hardwood, installed cabinets, a backsplash, and appliances, did all the plumbing and electrical work, and managed all of the engineering work, inspections, and subcontractors (just for installation of the granite countertops - everything else was in house). It was a huge project and took months to complete.
The project seemed to take forever, but we couldn't be happier with the end result
