The starting point for using solar thermal energy is to heat domestic hot water, as it is used year-round. Solar panels are usually mounted on the roof while a small storage tank is installed in the basement. Other options exist if necessary or desirable. Usually 2 to 4 panels and 80 to 160 gallons of stored hot water compose a system.

Phenomenal experience. Laurent was timely in getting back to us, working with us on pricing, and even dissuaded us from upgrades that wouldn't make sense for our system. Their master plumber, Keith, understood our complex, dated system within 5 minutes after his arrival and diagnosed our issue in less time than that. He provided clear, concise explanations, offered efficient solutions and next-level possibilities, and finished the job in well under the time we had expected. So pleased with this group. Will definitely work with them again.

Terrible customer experience. They came out and took off the panels immediately so the roofing contractor could get his money, but they took 3+ months to come back and finish the job, which cost me $170/mo. Then they had the audacity to call and complain because they weren't paid immediately, even though it was their workers that didn't pick up the check we left under the mat for them. I do not recommend this contractor and will not be doing business with them in the future.
Edit: Owner was extremely rude to my wife and demanded full payment before the solar panels were reinstalled on our house

We built a new home at 7,300 ft in Indian Hills. The Capital team did a great job explaining our options, suggesting a system, installing it, & getting it all up and running. They did BOTH our thermal solar and in-floor hydronic / domestic hot water systems. Bruce has even given me some technical assistance on system settings and maintenance 2 years after the install. Highly recommend!

Capital Solar has worked on a number of jobs for me. The owner's are delighted with the quality of the product and I, as general contractor really appreciated their attention to detail and their working with me on the schedule. They arranged to have the home heated during construction which was a huge help to us. I recommend them highly!
