U.P. Masonry Construction's mission is to provide the highest-quality workmanship possible. Masonry Construction Incorporated in Livonia in 1994 by Umberto Paterra, and has since been handed down to his son Daniel Paterra.

Currently, the company is involved in custom home renovations and remodeling, in addition to new-home construction and small commercial projects. Typical projects are structured with one of the principals as the primary project manager.
A working supervisor is on the job from start to finish and is responsible for the implementation of the design. We've worked with many Contractors and Home- Owners for over 45-years. Our relationships are built on trust and performance.

Services
Laborers for Full Time residential construction. Looking for hardworking motivated employees. Must have ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds without assistance. We work in all weather conditions. Must be able to work on top of ladders, scaffolding, and the top of buildings. Lays blocks, stones or bricks following blueprints, plans, or drawings.

We had Dan and team out to replace our front porch step. They got back to us in a timely manner and were able to get the step replaced in February when the weather doesn't typically cooperate. We also used them previously to replace our driveway and were very pleased with their professionalism and quality of work. We will definitely be using them for any future masonry needs.

I can't say enough great things about U P Masonry. We received quotes from 3 other companies first which were "sale-sie" and not as complete a quote as U P. We saw the U P truck on the road and called for a quote. They showed up on time and quoted right in the middle of the pack on price but were doing much more work than the previous quotes. The others were tearing down 8-9 layers and U P quoted taking down 15 layers of brick on the chimney which really needed it. They found both flues misaligned and causing water to leak into the basement. They took their time and showed us everything either
